     *James Frame married Susanna Bradshaw on 09 March 1809 in Paris, Bourbon Co., Kentucky. Susanna was born on 30 March 1788 in Plumstead, Bucks Co., Pennsylvania, the daughter of William Bradshaw and Mary Shaw. Susanna was previously married to a Mr. Bledsoe. James and Susanna migrated to Preble Co., Ohio, then to Vermilion Co., Illinois where the were listed in the 1830 Census Records with 2 males 5-10, 1 male 10-15, 1 male 15-20, 1 male 40-50, 2 females under 5, 1 female 5-10, and 1 female 30-40. They then went to Montgomery Co., Illinois, moving to Melrose Township, near Quincy, Illinois in 1831 where they located a claim of 160 acres. They sold part of their land in April 1834 to Joseph Keney for $150.00, and the rest of their land in March of 1836 to John B. Young. On 11 Dec 1838 they purchased 10 acres of land near Quincy, from John and Elizabeth Anderson. James and his family were listed in the 1840 Adams Co., Illinois Census Records with 2 males under 5, 1 male 10-14, 1 male 20-29, 1 male 50-59, 1 female 10-14, 2 females 15-19, 2 females 30-39, and 1 female 50-59. James sold this farm on 06 Nov 1840. In 1845 they migrated to Iowa County in the Wisconsin Territory, close to the Yellowstone settlement, near the future town of Blanchardville. James was listed in the 1846 census living next door to his son-in-law Alexander Greenough, and two doors down from his son Jeremiah Frame. By March of 1847, James and Susanna were living with Alexander and Mary Ann. James and Susanna then relocated near Prairie in the fall of 1847. Sometime between 1847 and 1850, James and his family moved to Argyle, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin, where they are listed in the 1850 Census. James died on 15 January 1852 in Argyle, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin.  Susanna was living with her son James in the 1860 Cadiz, Green Co., Wisconsin Census records.  Susanna died 16 March 1870 in Wiota, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin. 1. David Patterson Frame, born: 09 Mar 1810 in Bourbon Co., Kentucky. He married Mary Beard on 15 May 1839 in Preble Co., Ohio, by John M. Gray, J.P (Preble Co., Ohio Marriages, Bk.1, pg. 367).

2. Jeremiah Frame, born: 23 Apr 1812 in Bourbon Co., Kentucky. He married Elizabeth Strader on 18 May 1842 in Green Co., Wisconsin. Elizabeth was born on 25 Jan 1824 in Vermilion Co., Illinois, the daughter of Jacob Strader and Rachel Starr. Their family was listed in the 1850 Argyle, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin Census, the 1860 Cadiz, Green Co., Wisconsin Census, the 1870 Wiota, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin Census, and the 1880 Unorganized Territory, Holt Co., Nebraska Census records. Jeremiah died on 20 Jan 1886, and Elizabeth died on 23 Mar 1888. They both are buried in the East Woodlawn Cemetery, Johnstown, Brown Co., Nebraska. Their children were:

     a. Rachel Frame, born: 28 May 1844 in Green Co., Wisconsin and died on 28 May 1844. She is buried in the Martin Cemetery, Martintown, Green Co., Wisconsin (findagrave.com).

     b. Anna Frame, born: 29 Aug 1845 in Green Co., Wisconsin and died on 29 Aug 1845. She is buried in the Martin Cemetery, Martintown, Green Co., Wisconsin (findagrave.com)

     c. Elias James Frame, born: 03 Feb 1847 in Lafayette Co., Wisconsin (Thank you Roger Greenough). He married Mary Catherine Trickle on 12 Feb 1869 in Green Co., Wisconsin. Mary was born 29 Oct 1851 in Green Co., Wisconsin, the daughter of Andrew Jackson Trickle and Elizabeth Carothers. Elias died on 07 Dec 1901 and is buried in the Martin Cemetery, Martintown, Green Co., Wisconsin. She then married Samuel Lane. Mary died on 14 Dec 1925, and is buried in Porterville Cemetery, Porterville, Tullare Co., California (findagrave.com). Children: Harvey A., Roselle, Clara E., Jesse E., Ida M., William, and Mabel Frame.

     d. Mary Jane Frame, born: 01 Nov 1848 in Lafayette Co., Wisconsin (Again, many thanks Roger). She married Isaac Riley Rinehart on 20 Dec 1868 in Green Co., Wisconsin. Isaac was born on 09 Nov 1850 in Champaign Co., Illinois. Mary died on 24 Mar 1941, and Isaac died also in 1941. They are both buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, Tulsa Co., Oklahoma (findagrave.com). Children: Charles Martin, Louella "Dollie", Jesse B., Irene, and Mary Elizabeth Rinehart.

     e. Jacob Silas Frame, born: 26 Nov 1850, Argyle, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin. He married Rebecca Dora Sweeney on 19 Apr 1871 in Argyle, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin, by H. D. Jencks, of Argyle (Lafayette Co., Wisconsin Marriage Records, Bk 4, pg. 32-Lists parents as Jeremiah and Elizabeth Frame). Rebecca was born on 27 Aug 1851 in Pennsylvania, the daughter of James M. Sweeney and Jane Elizabeth Stephenson (Parents sent to me by Nancy Wood-from the History of Lafayette Co., Wisconsin 1881, pg. 783). Jacob died on 04 Dec 1934 and Rebecca died on 19 Apr 1913. They both are buried in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Fresno, Fresno Co., California (findagrave.com). Their children: James Walter, Nelly, William Washington, Jerermiah F., Carrie A., Bertha, and Ann Gertrude Frame.

    f. David Jesse Frame, born: 23 Dec 1852. He married Sarah Elizabeth Schindler on 21 Jul 1875. Sarah was born on 04 May 1847 in Wisconsin. David died on 10 Aug 1942, and Sarah died on 11 Mar 1930, both in Dane Co., Wisconsin. They are buried in the West Blue Mounds Lutheran Cemetery, Dane Co., Wisconsin. Children: John Lewis, Daniel David, Agnes, Charles Emery, and William Thomas Frame.

    g. Caroline Rhoda "Carrie" Frame, born: 10 Feb 1855. She married David E. Green. David was born on 28 Mar 1849. Carrie died on 04 Nov 1937, and is buried in the Rosehill Cemetery & Mausoleum, Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois. David died on 28 Oct 1924 and is buried in the Mount Washington Cemetery Independence, Jackson Co., Missouri (findagrave.com). Children: Etna M. and Georgiana S. Green.

    h. Daniel Francis Frame, born: 26 Sept 1856. He married Marguerette Louise Henry on 08 Oct 1879 in Argyle, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin, by E. W. Allen of Argyle. (Lafayette Co., Wisconsin Marriage Records, Bk. 4, pg. 97-Lists parents as Jeremiah and Elizabeth Frame). Marguerette was born on 01 Apr 1846, the daughter of Robert and Sarah A. Henry. Daniel died on 22 Aug 1944, and Marguerette died on 22 Mar 1936. They are both buried in the Forest Hill Cemetery, Canton, Lincoln Co., South Dakota (findagrave.com). Children: Alice Loretta, Ralph M., and Rozella Frame.

    i. William Patterson Frame, born: 04 Apr 1859 in Green Co., Wisconsin. He married Theodosia Heater on 17 Feb 1884 in Rippey, Greene Co., Iowa. Theodosia was born on 05 Nov 1860, the daughter of Jacob and Martha Heater. William died on 05 Sept 1947 in Merced Co., California. Their children were: Elizabeth, Dowell, and Robert Ross Frame.

    j. John Strader Frame, born: 14 Sept 1863 in Green Co., Wisconsin. He married Salome Jane Heater on 17 Apr 1890 in Rippey, Green Co., Iowa. Salome was born on 26 Mar 1862, the daughter of Jacob and Martha Heater. John died on 16 Feb 1936, and Salome died on 23 Oct 1943. I found their resting place by accident one day looking for my wife's family. They both are buried in the Franklin Twp. Cemetery, Cooper, Greene Co., Iowa. Children: May, Pearl, Fern, and John Dewey Frame.

3. John B. Frame, born: 29 Apr 1814 in Preble Co., Ohio. He married at least twice. He married first to Nancy Vaughan on 26 Oct 1836 in Lewis Co., Their family was listed in the 1840 Lewis Co., Missouri Census records with 2 males under 5, 1 male 20-29, and 1 female 20-29. Their children were:

     a. Male, born: 1835-1840, Lewis Co., Missouri.

     b. Jeremiah T. Frame, born: May 1840, Lewis Co., Missouri.

     John married second to Jane Washburn on 22 Feb 1844 in Lewis Co., Missouri. Jane was born 1824, the daughter of Cornelius Washburn and Cynthia Potter. Their family was listed in the 1850 Argyle, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin Census records living with John's brother Thomas and family. They were next listed in the 1860 Dickerson, Lewis Co., Missouri Census records. John died on 30 Aug 1865 and is buried in the Dover Cemetery, La Grange, Lewis Co., Missouri (findagrave.com). I could not find Jane in the 1870 Census records. Jane was listed in the 1880 Highland, Lewis Co., Missouri Census. Jane died in 1883 in Lewis Co., Missouri, and is buried in the Little Mountain Cemetery, Monticello, Lewis Co., Missouri (findagrave.com). John and Jane's children were:

     c. Cynthia Ann "Syntha" Frame, born: 1849 in Wisconsin. She married Francis Marion Gray on 18 Dec 1868 in Lewis Co., Missouri. Francis was born on 18 Jun 1842. Francis died on 12 Jan 1910 and is buried in the Ramona Cemetery, Ramona, Washington Co., Oklahoma (findagrave.com). Children: Lewis E., Cora B., and Minnie J. Gray.

     d. Mary Ellen Frame, born: unknown, Lewis Co., Missouri.

     e. Cornelius N. Frame, born: 1852 in Lewis Co., Missouri. He married twice. He married first to Marissa _____. Marissa was born in 1856 in Missouri. Children: Myrtle Frame. Cornelius married second to Laura Goldsmith on 15 Aug 1875 in Lewis Co., Missouri. Laura was born in 1860 in Illinois. Children: Ellen Frame.

     f. Joseph Newton Frame, born: 13 May 1857, Lewis Co., Missouri. He married Minnie M. Beam on 26 Feb 1895 in Adams Co., Illinois. Minnie was born on 09 Jul 1876 in Illinois. Joseph died on 16 Jun 1943 and Minnie died on 26 Apr 1959. The both are buried in the Forest Grove Cemetery, Canton, Lewis Co., Missouri (findagrave.com). Children: Blanch, Berty, Joseph Everett and Harry E. Frame.

     g. Sarah J. "Sallie" Frame, born: October 1859, Lewis Co., Missouri. She married Harvey E. Harmon. Harvey was born in Apr 1856 in Pennsylvania. Sallie died after the 1900 Census was taken. Harvey died in 1945 in Illinois. Children: Idella, Ollie Lee, Joseph E., Lula, and John William Harman.

4. Thomas Alexander Frame, (See 5th Generation), born: 05 Jun 1816 in Preble Co., Ohio.

5. Silas Frame, born: 16 Jul 1818 in Preble Co., Ohio. He married Mary Ann "Polly" Strader on 31 Oct 1855 in Clarno, Green Co., Wisconsin. Polly was born on 20 Jun 1819 in Preble Co., Ohio, the daughter of Jacob Strader and Rachel Starr and the sister of Elizabeth. Silas and his family are listed in the 1860, 1870, and the 1880 Clarno, Green Co., Wisconsin Census. Silas died on 27 Feb 1894, and Polly died on 27 Jun 1905. They both are buried in the Kelly-Morton Cemetery, Cadiz Twp., Green Co., Wisconsin. (Birth and death dates also sent to me by Ray Rupnow from photos of Silas and Polly's headstones). Children that I have:

     a. Jacob Strader Frame, born: 30 Apr 1856 in Green Co., Wisconsin. He married Hattie Louisa Radliff. Hattie was born on 25 Sep 1855 in Wisconsin, the daughter of Alexander S. and Vilena S. Radliff. Jacob died on 25 Nov 1923 and is buried in the Reedley Cemetery, Reedley, Fresno Co, California. Hattie died on 25 Nov 1943 and is buried in the Home of Peace Cemetery, Porterville, Tulare Co., California. Children: Leland Arthur, Florence Louise, Ethel Mildred, Royal Radliff, Vilena C., Hattie D., and Anna S. Frame.

     b. Rhoda Cathryn Frame, born: 1858 in Wisconsin. She married Charles Edward Whitehead on 06 Sep 1877 in Green Co., Wisconsin. Charles was born on 11 Dec 1856 in Wisconsin, the son of Levi Whitehead and Susan Hackworth. Rhoda died on 12 Nov 1923, and Charles died in Mar 1934. The both are buried in the Hawthorne Cemetery, Clarno, Green Co., Wisconsin. Children: Blanch S. and Neoma F. Whitehead.

     c. Ellen Frame, born: May 1860, Green Co., Wisconsin.

     d. Emma Frame, born: 1862, Green Co., Wisconsin.

6. James Frame, born: 14 Jul 1820 (Headstone date) in Preble Co., Ohio. He married Anna Catherine Strader on 21 Oct 1849 in Jordan, Green Co., Wisconsin. Anna was born on 11 May 1826 in Preble Co., Ohio, the daughter of Jacob Strader and Rachel Starr, and the sister of Elizabeth and Polly. James died on 26 Jan 1861, and is buried in the Kelly-Morton Cemetery, Cadiz Twp., Green Co., Wisconsin. Anna remarried to Henry Rush and died on 11 Aug 1893. She is buried in the Porterville Cemetery, Porterville, Tulare Co., California. James and Anna's children were:

     a. David Patterson Frame, born: 16 Apr 1851 in Lafayette Co., Wisconsin. He married Ada Charlotte Green on 30 Jan 1878 in Lafayette Co., Wisconsin. Ada was born on 16 Sep 1856 in Wisconsin, the daughter of Charles Green and Amanda Webster. David died on 25 Feb 1898 and isu buried in the Elmwood Cemetery, Kansas City, Jackson Co., Missouri (findagrave.com), and Ada died on 21 Jul 1936. Children: Herbert, Leon, Dudley and Jerome Frame.

     b. Mary Rachel Frame, born: 1853, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin.

     c. Jacob Strader Frame, born: 30 Apr 1856 in Jordan, Green Co., Wisconsin. He married Hattie Louise Radliff on 02 Jun 1886 in Fon du Lac, Wisconsin. Hattie was born in 1860 in Wisconsin the daughter of Alex and Vilena Radliff. Jacob died in Atascadero, San Luis Obispo Co., California, and Hattie died on 03 Aug 1938 in Porterville, Tulare Co., California. Children: Leland Arthur, Florence S., Ethel Mildred, Royal Radliff, Vilena Ada, Hattie D., and Anna S Frame.

7. Mary Ann Frame, born: 16 Oct 1822 in Vermilion Co., Illinois, married Alexander Greeno(ugh)on 30 Apr 1840 in Adams Co., Illinois, by William B. Gooding, J. P. Mary Ann died ca 1848 in present day Blanchard Twp., Lafayette Co., Wisconsin. After the death of his wife Mary Ann, Alexander married Mary Magdeline Cline. Mary Cline Greenough's sister Sarah (Cline) Richmond was married to Orson B. Devoe, brother of Sarah C. Devoe who was the first wife of Mary Ann Frame Greenough's brother, Thomas Alexander Frame. Mary Ann and Alexander's children were:

     a. Susanna B. Greenough, born: 1841, Illinois.

     b. Nancy A. Greenough, born: 1843, Illinois.

     c. Mary J. Greenough, born: Before 01 Jun 1845, Argyle, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin.

8. Elizabeth Frame, born: 19 Jan 1824 in Vermilion Co., Illinois. Note: For years I did have Elizabeth being married to Harvey Henry Morrow. Harvey was really married to Elizabeth Frame, b: 19 Jun 1824, the daughter of Silas and Polly Strader. My deepest apologies to all.

    *Thomas Alexander Frame born 05 Jun 1816 in Preble Co., Ohio. He married twice. He married first Sarah C. Devoe on 15 June 1848 in Monroe, Green Co., Wisconsin. Sarah was born in 25 Apr 1831 in New York, the daughter of George L. Devoe and Elizabeth Kinney. Thomas and Sarah were listed in the 1850 Argyle, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin Census. Thomas and Sarah migrated to St. Louis, St. Louis Co., Missouri ca 1856/57 where they were listed in the 1860 St. Louis, St. Louis Co., Missouri Census records. Sarah died from Tuberculosis in 1860 in St. Louis, St. Louis Co., Missouri (Thank you for this information Erin Frame).  Thomas and Sarah's children were:

1. George Oliver Frame, born 22 Jul 1849, Green Co., Wisconsin, died of Scarlet Fever on 17 Jan 1853, St. Louis, Missouri.

2. Lucinda Elizabeth Frame, born: 03 Mar 1851, Argyle, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin. She married Millard Filmore Eveland on 10 Mar 1870, Monroe, Green Co., Wisconsin. Millard was born in 19 Jan 1849 in Green Co., Wisconsin, the son of James Henry Eveland and Margaret Strader. They were listed in the 1870 Monroe, Green Co., Wisconsin Census, and the 1885 Coffins Grove, Delaware Co., Iowa Census. Millard was listed in the 1892 Woodbury Co., Iowa Farmers Directory. Their family was later listed in the 1900 and 1910 Winnebago, Thurston Co., Nebraska Census, and the 1930 and 1940 O'Neill, Holt Co., Nebraska Census records. Lucinda died on 24 Oct 1948. She is buried in the Pinecrest Cemetery, Bonner Co., Idaho, and Millard died on 19 Jan 1933 in Sheridan Co., Nebraska and is buried in the Gordon Cemetery, Gordon, Sheridan Co., Nebraska. Their children were:

     a. Lorenzo Howard Eveland, born: 12 Jul 1871 in Green Co., Wisconsin. He married Nellie Ida Greenough on 30 Oct 1895 in Mapleton, Monona Co., Iowa. Nellie was born on 15 Jul 1872 in Richland Co., Wisconsin, the daughter of William C. Greenough and Linda E. Newkirk (Thank you Roger Greenough). Lorenzo died on 19 Sep 1943 in Cleveland, Bradley Co., Tennessee and Nellie died on 12 Apr 1948 in Chattanooga, Hamilton Co., Tennessee. They both are buried in the Fort Hill Cemetery, Cleveland, Bradley Co., Tennessee.

     b. Anna Isabel Eveland, born: 16 Feb 1874. She married Charles Andrew Hiserote. Charles was born in 1867 in Iowa. They were listed in the 1900 Emerson Village, Dakota Co., Nebraska Census, and the 1910 Hubbard, Dakota Co., Nebraska Census, the 1920 Omadi, Dakota Co., Nebraska Census, and the 1930 and 1940 South Sioux City, Dakota Co., Nebraska Census records. Anna died on 26 Feb 1959 and Charles died on 20 Feb 1956, both in Vancouver, Clark Co., Washington. They are buried in the Lane Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Eugene, Lane Co., Oregon.

     c. Lavina Sarah Eveland (LDS files), born: 16 Feb 1874 in Green Co., Wisconsin. She married Joseph Sherman Eveland. Joseph was born in 1872 in Indiana. Lavina died in 1940 and Joseph died in 1941. They both are buried in the O'Neill Cemetery, O'Neill, Holt Co., Nebraska.

     d. James Henry Eveland (LDS files), born: 17 Feb 1885 in Deleware Co., Iowa. He married Mary Julia Styer on 12 May 1909 in Winnebago, Thurston Co., Nebraska. Mary was born on 28 Feb 1892 in Butler Co., Nebraska, the daughter of David Styer and Laura Thayer. James died on 20 Jun 1960, and Mary died on 10 Jun 1987. They both are buried in the Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Sandpoint, Bonner Co., Idaho.

3. James Henry Frame, born: 02 Nov 1855, in Wisconsin, probably in Argyle, Lafayette Co. (According to the 1860 Census of St. Louis, he was born in Wisconsin). He married Cynthia Ellen Youngblood on 15 Sept 1878 in Wiota, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin, by C. R. Bridgeman, J. P. of Wiota (Lafayette Co., Wisconsin Marriage Records, Bk. 4, pg. 89-Lists parents as Thomas and Sarah Frame, witnesses T. (Thomas?) and H. (Hannah?) Frame). Cynthia was born on 12 Jan 1859 in Wisconsin, the daughter of Daniel Youngblood and Adaline Phillips. James was listed in the 1892 Woodbury Co., Iowa Farmers Directory. James and his family later relocated to Monona Co., Iowa.  In 1891 their family was hit with Diptheria of which claimed the life of their son Frank William (Thank you for this information Erin Frame).  James later sold his farm to his neighbor John Uhl and migrated to Marshall(town), Marshall Co., Iowa where their family was listed in the 1900 Marshall,Marshall Co., Iowa Census. Their family then migrated to Billings Co., North Dakota where they were listed in the 1910 Beach, Billings Co., North Dakota Census records. From there they finally settled in Sentinel Butte, Golden Valley, North Dakota where they were listed in the 1920 Census records. James died on 07 Jan 1925 in Sentinel Butte, Golden Valley Co., North Dakota and is buried in the Sentinel Butte Cemetery, Sentinel Butte, Golden Valley Co., North Dakota. Cynthia was listed in the 1930 Miles, Custer Co., Montana Census living with her daughter Zada Nelson and her family. Lastly, Cynthia was listed in the 1940 Salem, Marion Co., Oregon Census. Cynthia died on 05 Feb 1946 in Marion Co., Oregon, and is buried in the City View Cemetery, Salem, Marion Co., Oregon. Their children were:

     a. Charles A. Frame, born: 14 Feb 1879 in Monroe, Green Co., Wisconsin. He married Minnie C. Rowan. Minnie was born in 1881 in Missouri. Charles died on 01 Mar 1954 and Minnie died on 13 Apr 1959. They both are buried in the City View Cemetery, Salem, Marion Co., Oregon. Children: Lester Earl, Myrtle May, Cecil Ray, and Marie E. Frame.

     b. Frank William Frame, born: 02 Nov 1885 in Monroe, Green Co., Wisconsin. He died on 26 Feb 1891 and is buried in the Liberty Township Cemetery, Salix, Woodbury Co., Iowa.

     c. Zada Mae "Zadie" Frame, born: 18 Feb 1887 in Manchester, Deleware Co., Iowa. She married George Earl Nelson.  George was born on 08 Dec 1879 in Jacison Co., Illinois.  They were listed in 1910 Beach Twp., Billings Co., North Dakota Census records. Zada died on 23 May 1977, and George died on 01 Apr 1947. They both are buried in the City View Cemetery, Salem, Marion Co., Oregon. Children: Mabel Ellen, Leo E., and Claude J. Nelson.

     d. Clarence W. Frame, born: 07 Feb 1891 in Danbury, Woodbury Co., Iowa. He married twice. He married first to Mildrend Sivesand. Midlred was born in 1903 and died before 1930. Their son Everett Earl was listed living with her parents. Clarence also married Gladys E. _____. Clarence died on 05 Nov 1966, and is buried in the Mountain View Cemetery, Dillon, Beaverhead Co., Montana.

4. Thomas Frame, born ca 1857 in St. Louis, St. Louis Co., Missouri.

     Thomas moved back to Wisconsin and married second, Hannah Dodson Bishel on 31 August 1867 in Argyle, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin, by C. H. Wilder of Argyle (Lafayette Co., Wisconsin Marriage Records, Bk 4, pg. 15-Lists parents as James and Susanna Frame). Hannah was previously married to John Bishel. She had 4 children from her first marriage. They were: William, Elizabeth, Arthur, and John Bishel. Hannah was born on 18 May 1836 in Darrington, Yorkshire, England, the daughter of Thomas Dodson and Elizabeth Sharp. (Marriage records list her parents first names as well). Hannah was baptized on 12 Jun 1836 in Darrington, Yorkshire, England. Thomas and Hannah's family were listed in the 1870 and 1880 Argyle, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin Census records. Thomas was a miner in Argyle, and then became a farmer. Thomas and Hannah's children were:

4. *George Thomas Frame, (See 6th Generation), born: 09 June 1869 in Argyle, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin.

5. Marcus Frame Cooper, Maj., born: 27 Mar 1881 in Argyle, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin. Marcus married Barbara Bell on 07 Nov 1906 in Baltimore, Baltimore Co., Maryland. Marcus was a Major in the US Army, and served his country his whole life. He fought in the Spanish-American War, was stationed in Alaska during the Gold Rush, worked on the pipeline there, served in France during the World War, and fought in Germany. He led a raid on Kaiser Wilhelm's Palace, and his men obtained the key to their arsenal, and used their own weapons against them. Marcus is buried in the Arlington National Cemetery, near the foot of The Unknown Soldier, in Arlington, Virginia. All of this wonderful information comes from Darren Cooper, great grandson of Marcus. Thank you Darren. Marcus and Barbara's children were:

     a. Viola Bell Cooper, born: 07 Nov 1908 at Fort Totten, New York, New York. She married John Tyler.

     b. James Herbert Cooper, born: 11 Nov 1912 at Jamestown, Rhode Island. He married Susie Carlene Jackman on 05 Sept 1936. James served in the US Navy. James died on 01 May 1971, and Susie died on 18 Jun 1996, both in San Diego, California.

     c. John Edward Cooper, born: 18 Jan 1925 at Pederick, New Jersey. He married Eloise _____.

6. Jesse Frame, born after 1881 in Argyle, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin.  He died in infancy (Thanks Erin).

    Thomas and Hannah seperated. Marcus was adopted out to John and Elizabeth Cooper. The Cooper family later moved away from Argyle. In a letter dated in 1930 from Marcus Frame Cooper to his brother George Thomas Frame (after George had written him), stated that Marcus went back to Argyle when he was older, and had heard from a couple of people there, that Thomas and Hannah also may have had a set of twins born after himself, and that they too were adopted out. Marcus however could find no proof of this.

    After their divorce Hannah married George Huntingdon on 27 Mar 1892 in Franklin Co., Iowa. Hannah married again for the last time to Thomas Hender Peter on 02 July 1897 in Sheffield, Franklin Co., Iowa (The Peter information is from the Peter Family History Site, prepared by David C. Holman). Hannah was listed in the 1900, 1910, and 1920 Clinton, Franklin Co., Iowa Census records along with her husband Thomas Peter. Thomas was listed in the 1900 Grant, Monona Co., Iowa Census records living with his son George's family. Thomas died on 07 December 1907 in Sentinel Butte, Golden Valley Co., North  Dakota from cancer just a few days after migrating there.  He is buried next to his son James Henry in the Sentinel  Butte Cemetery, Sentinel Butte, Golden Valley Co., North Dakota (Thank you for this information Erin Frame).  Hannah died on 09 September 1928 at the age of 92, and is buried in the Hillside Cemetery, Sheffield, Franklin Co., Iowa.

    *George Thomas Frame born 09 June 1869 in Argyle, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin, migrated to Mapleton, Monona Co., Iowa. He married Catherina "Katherine" Ernst on 23 Jul 1894 in Mapleton, Monona Co., Iowa. Katherine was born 07 October 1875 in Mapleton, Monona Co., Iowa, the daughter of Alois Ernst and Barbara Uhl. They were listed in the 1900 Grant, Monona Co., Iowa Census, the 1910 Maple Twp. (Mapleton), Monona Co., Iowa Census, the 1920 Woodbury, Woodbury Co., Iowa Census. George later bought a farm near Sargeant Bluff, Woodbury Co., Iowa. He retired from his farm, and spent the remainder of his life in Sioux City, Woodbury Co., Iowa.. Katherine died on 26 December 1939. George remarried after Katherine's death. He died on 08 February 1964. George and Katherine are both buried in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Mapleton, Monona Co., Iowa. Their children were:

1. Edna Helene Frame, born: 27 Oct 1895 in Fair Play, Polk Co., Missouri (SSDI). She married Frank Edward "Shorty" Daniels on 01 Sep 1915 in Woodbury Co., Iowa. Frank was born on 03 Mar 1893 in Broken Bow, Custer Co., Nebraska, the son of Charles J. Daniels and Adella Calohan. Their family was listed in the 1920 through 1940 Sioux City, Woodbury Co., Iowa Census records. Edna died on 08 Dec 1974 in Sioux City, Woodbury Co., Iowa, and Frank died on 11 Mar 1963. They both are buried in the Calvary Cemetery, Sioux City, Woodbury Co., Iowa. Children: Albert Paul, Lyle Frank, and Delane Daniels.

2. Roy George Frame, born: 19 Mar 1897 in Springfield, Henry Co., Missouri (WWI Draft Reg. Cards & SSDI). He married Blanche Violet Ragan on 01 Nov 1919 in Sioux City, Woodbury Co., Iowa. Blanche was born: 28 Apr 1903 the daughter of Claude W. Regan and Effie Mae Porter. Their family was listed in the 1920 through 1940 Sioux City, Woodbury Co., Iowa Census records. Roy died: 04 Sept 1967, and Blanche died: 18 May 1991. They both are buried in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, Woodbury Co., Iowa. Children: Keith George "Skeet", John Cleo LeRoy, Marcella Mae, and Everett Laverne Frame.

3. Leslie Isadore "Mount" Frame, born: 12 Dec 1899 in Rodney, Monona Co., Iowa (Delayed Birth Certificate #079950). He married Arlene R. O'Connell on 22 Feb 1952, Union Co., South Dakota. Arlene was born: 08 Aug 1917. Leslie died: 01 Apr 1960, and Arlene died: Oct 1983. They both are buried in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, Woodbury Co., Iowa.

4. Hazel Rose Frame, born: 18 Jan 1901 in Woodbury Co., Iowa (SSDI). She married Harold Allen on 30 Jan 1926 in Salix, Woodury Co., Iowa. Harold was born: 01 Apr 1906 in Bronson, Woodbury Co., Iowa, the son of Levi Judson Allen and Eleanor Francis Fressenden. They were listed in the 1930 and 1940 Floyd, Woodbury Co., Iowa Census records. Hazel and Harold had no children. Hazel died: 31 Jan 1987, and Harold died: 27 Mar 1989. The both are buried in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, Woodbury Co., Iowa.

5. Peter William "Pete" Frame, born: 23 Jan 1903 in Woodbury Co., Iowa (SSDI). He married twice. He married first to Henrietta Marie Jahn on 13 Jan 1926 in Sioux City, Woodbury Co., Iowa. Henrietta was born on 03 Jun 1907 in West Fork Twp., Woodbury Co., Iowa the daughter of Henry Jahn and Emma Tabke. Henrietta died in Nov 1932 and is buried in the Graceland Park Cemetery, Sioux City, Woodbury Co., Iowa. Children: Shirley May Frame. Peter married second to Mildred Irene Pearl "Minnie" Giseth on 01 Feb 1936 in Elk Point, South Dakota. Minnie was born on 09 Oct 1909 in Sioux City, Woodbury Co., Iowa, the daughter of John Giseth and Johanna Olstead. Peter died: 31 Dec 1967 and Minnie died: 19 Mar 1996. They both are buried in the Graceland Park Cemetery, Sioux City, Woodbury Co., Iowa.

6. Irene Frame, born: 05 Apr 1907 in Mapleton, Monona Co., Iowa (Delayed Birth Certificate #416203). She married Alvin George Daniels on 21 Nov 1925 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Salix, Iowa. Alvin was born on 16 Oct 1901 in Underwood, Pottawatamie Iowa, the son of Charles J. Daniels and Adella Calohan. Their family was listed in the 1930 Little Sioux, Woodbury Co., Iowa Census, and the 1940 Sioux City, Woodbury Co., Iowa Census records. Irene died on 26 Jun 1943, and Alvin died on 19 Nov 1972. They both are buried in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, Woodbury Co., Iowa. Children: Wilma M. and Dwight Daniels.

7. *Edwin Paul Frame, (See 7th Generation), born: 09 July 1909 in Cooper Twp., Monona Co., Iowa (Iowa Births and Christenings).

8. Clifford Anton Frame, born: 04 Jun 1911 in Mapleton, Monona Co., Iowa (Iowa Births and Christenings). He married twice. He married first to Mabel Hoke on 10 Feb 1930 in Sioux City, Woodbury Co., Iowa (Iowa Marriage License). Both his parents George and Kate were witnesses. Mabel was born on 27 Apr 1910 in Nebraska, the daughter of Clyde Hoke and Goldie Orr. Children: Living, and Donna Mae Frame. He married second to Gladys Mae Strom on 23 Sep 1940 in Dakota City, Dakota Co., Nebraska. Gladys was born on 11 Jan 1919 in Elk Point, Union Co., South Dakota, the daughter of Ole Strom and Carrie Blosmo. Uncle Cliff had his own business; Frame Heating and Air Conditioning located in Sioux City. Clifford died in Nov 1976, and Gladys died: 18 Aug 1994 in Sioux City, Woodbury Co., Iowa. The both are buried in the Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, Woodbury Co., Iowa. Children: Richard C. Frame.

     *Edwin Paul Frame married Camilla Izetta Parks, on 18 November 1939 in South Sioux City, Dakota Co., Nebrarska. Camilla was born on 21 July 1920, the daughter of John Franklin Parks and Mary Margaret Klave. I will not give out the dates of their children except for my Mother for privacy. Grandpa was a proud man, sometimes quick to temper, but would give the shirt off his back if someone needed it. He loved to hunt and fish. He retired from the Colonial Bakery in Sioux City. Grandma "Granny" was an awesome cook, and loved to be with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. I loved my Grandparents very much. Grandpa's favorite saying was "Well by Golly". and I will never forget that. Grandpa died on 02 Jun 1976 and Granny died on 14 February 2004. They both are buried in the Calvary Cemetery, Sioux City, Woodbury Co., Iowa. Children:
