Who are you?

You came into my life

Slipped up beside me.

Filled my head

with stories of wonder,

danger,

the stuff of childhood

and wildhood.

Yet, you are so...

Calm.

You entranced me,

Enchanted me

Wooed me,

Enraptured me.

You fed me

Honey,

Ambrosia,

Nectar of the Gods.

You enflamed my senses,

Made my spirit dream,

Made me feel like a princess,

And completely endeared me to you.

I looked inside you,

And loved.

Thoughts of you devour me,

Consume me,

And fill my senses

With dreams

And desires.

I think of you,

And my spirit yearns to be free,

To be where you are,

To taste you,

To love you,

To fill you with all that you've given me,

And all that I am.

Yet, in my quiet moments,

I sit back and wonder

At how my soul

Belongs to you.

I wonder

How it came to be.

I wonder,

For it seems so...

Unreal;

But it's real.

And so I ask the question again,

For surely it is impossible

For one who does not believe in magic

To work such miracles...
