MFF's mission and objectives are accomplished through 3 main agenda.

These agenda are to inculcate new paradigm shifts towards focusing on the future to improve one's position today - for tomorrow is built on today's dreams and actions. In terms of strategic focus, these direct attention to the areas of economy, entrepreneurship, technology and human reengineering. Activities encompassing these agenda can be grouped into one or more of 3 segments:

  1. Futuristic Human Resouce Agenda 
  2. World Class Organisations Agenda 
  3. Futuristic Network Agenda 




FUTURISTIC HUMAN RESOURCE AGENDA

To live, to work and to learn into the future forms the foundation of this programme. In sum total, the programme is targeted at 'complete' development of people to achieve maximum personal effectiveness. Two programmes identified for this agenda are the:

HRD Programme
Healthy Lifestyle Programme


The end products of these programme are to develop:

  • Malaysian global managers
  • Malaysian into highly creative, future-oriented managers and leaders
  • Malaysians to live a robust, healthy life-style steeped in strong moral values
The 'Futuristic Mindset Centre' shall be the focal point for implementation of these programmes.

WORLD CLASS ORGANISATIONS AGENDA

Current trends on globilization has meant that both business and public sector organisations are increasingly being judged by world standards, rather than by local standards for organisations to grow into the 21st century with any degree of confidence, it is imperative that they have leaders who possess world class best practices, and so are able to provide world class vision and leadership to their organisations. Another facet of globalization is the application of technology that can open windows to develop a 'global mindset', a quality of utmost importance for pro active organisations. Two programmes dedicated towards these ends are the:

Global Competitiveness Programme
Technology Champion Programme


These programmes have the main objective of developing appropriate infrastructure for nurturing world class Malaysian corporate and technology champions.

The idea is to promote and lobby, amongst profit and non-profit oriented organisations, commitment and the need to make our industries globally competitive and also to invest in technology related businesses.

These programmes, which are to be executed by the Malaysia Institute of Global Competitiveness (MIGC), have the goals of developing:

  • a competitive profile of the Malaysian economy
  • a knowledge-based and investment literate society
  • initiatives to create a culture of high entrepreneurial spirit
  • cluster-based innovative businesses


FUTURISTIC NETWORK AGENDA

This agenda has the purpose to develop and promote the culture of networking as the futuristic work culture amongst Malaysians.

Management trends to demonstrate the immense of developing 'core competencies' in individuals and organisations. Consequently, out-sourcing and networking are becoming increasingly the norm for high achievements in productivity, effectiveness and efficiency. Two results oriented programmes to actualise this agenda are the:

World to Malaysia Network Programme
Futuristic Fellowship Programme


Think network, act borderless builds the MFF's philosophy in these programmes. Through networking, national and global resources can be mobilized to overcome any limitations individuals or organisations may have in Malaysia. With these networking programmes, MFF seeks to bring the world to Malaysia and Malaysia to the world. This paves the way for achieving, through the networking work culture, the following higher goals of:

  • strengthening Malaysia's geo-economic position and influence
  • mobilizing Malaysian intelligentsia as a catalyst of change
  • coalescing the disparate forces in the community towards a common goal of achieving MFF's vision
The Futuristic Network Centre shall ensure goals of these programmes are achieved.
