BHF 'Start a Heart' Appeal

Eastgate Shopping Centre, Basildon, 11th July 1998

Volunteers from BHF (British Heart Foundation), Essex and myself with other members of St. John Ambulance, Grays Division spent the day fundraising and doing CPR & defibrillator demonstrations for the BHF's 'Start a Heart' appeal, aimed at providing awareness of and funding for semi-automated defibrillators in the community.

The day consisted of numerous CPR and Defibrillation demonstrations, as well as blowing up and selling lots of balloons!
