Because of the nature of the operations carried out by this squadron, there is precious little information about it. Also the crew did not mix much so little information was pooled or shared. My Father recently asked if I could search the Internet to find out what (if any) information about his squadron was available and if possible to find out where he exactly flew on operations, only the navigator knew the exact locations of the drop zone. We are pleasantly surprised to find quite a few excellent sites that give an insight into the workings of 624 Squadron. (See Links)
The pages here are made form information my father has given me, I hope you find it of interest. We would also like to hear form others who may remember my Father who is alive and well, living in Tunbridge Wells.
