During this period, I also worked with civil disobedience groups that opposed U.S. intervention in Central America.

For this political theater demonstration, I sewed fifty small dolls, stuffed with newspaper, to be burned on the steps of the Federal Building. We attempted to vividly show that children were being killed by American weapons in Nicaragua and El Salvador.
