This is a pair of Shaftails. They are also from Australia. They are sitting on their eggs. They
usually lay around 4-6 eggs per batch. The eggs take 2 weeks to hatch and that's just the beginning. Then the babies stay in the nest for 2 and 1/2 weeks and once they come out of the nest, the parents still have to feed them for about a month. So raising a baby is a long task and more often than none the babies die.
