This is dad and Ashley doing Kangaroo care. Dad and Ashley are placed skin to skin to allow bonding. Ashley's stats would noticibly calm down during Kangaroo care. Her eyes have not yet opened. She has lost the purple/red color of the skin, but her heart had a prognosis of poor due to swelling from steroid treatments for her lungs. Both her heart and lungs were normal by 1/7/99.
