Peaceful, relaxing places need
not always be an airplane flight away. Sometimes a walk in
the park just an hour's drive out of town serves just as
well, like the Twin Forks of the Don River Park about an
hour northwest of Toronto. Boma Falls on Taveuni offers a
safe, restful place to spend an afternoon, with the cold
fresh water of the falls to soothe you. Moorea is a short
ferry ride away from the island of Tahiti, and offers
solitude, if not the quantity of marine life you will find
on the outer islands. And Tortola, if not the most scenic
island in the Caribean, is certainly one of the quietest,
restful places to spend a vacation.
