Based in Philadelphia, these
white lion cubs were on loan to the Metro Toronto Zoo when
photographed. Very young when first loaned out, patrons were
able to watch them develop over the course of a summer in
Toronto. All that appear in the pictures are genetically
white lions, though a single chromosome resulted in one of
them having conventional markings.
