Quagmire

Mulder shows his usual level of tact and sensitivity by questioning a man who is clearly in need of medical attention.

Scully:  Nature's calling.  I think we should pull over soon.

Mulder:  Did you really have to bring that thing?

Scully:  You wake me up on a Saturday morning, tell me to be ready in five minutes, my mother is out of town, all of the dog sitters are booked, and you know how I feel about kennels.  So unless you want to lose your security deposit on the car, I suggest you pull over.

That is gall for you.  Wakes someone up on a Saturday morning with last minute travel plans then complains when the dog has to tag along.  There's this thing people use for situations like this.  It's called advanced notice.  Maybe Mulder should look into it.  Call it an X-File to pique his interest.

General Punkesque Behavior

Mulder has some nerve!  He wakes Scully up on a Saturday morning, pulls her away at the last minute then complains when she wants to pull over to let the dog relieve himself.  Maybe next time you'll give Scully some notice so she can make arrangements for the dog.  Oh yeah, that's right!  There won't be a next time the dog is now alligator food.

Waking Scully up on a Saturday morning to fly halfway across the country and drive two hours for a missing person's case without telling Scully why he was interested in the case.

Here be monsters.  So you have a map of New York City that says that huh Mulder?  I have a suggestion for where you can stick that map.

Mulder can be so damn insensitive.  Scully says the man nicked an artery and needs to be taken to a hospital and Mulder persists in pumping the man for information.  Then he runs off into the forest alone.

Running off into the forest alone in the dark is not the wisest thing for anyone to do especially a city boy like Mulder.
