We serve lest we forget
The Mississippi Valley Brigade is an organization comprised of four battalions of authentic infantry reenactors. The MVB is dedicated to the proper portrayal of a western Confederate brigade during the period of America's most trying conflict, the war for Southern Independence. Our members are dedicated to providing the most accurate representation practical concerning the history of the time period.
Our staff desires to provide members consistent and enthusiastic leadership, and to compliment their efforts through support, direction, education, and understanding. The Mississippi Valley Brigade encourages the truthful education of Americans concerning all aspects of the War Between the States.
This Brigade is a member of the 1st Confederate Division under the command of Major General Mike Moore. The MVB is also a member of the North/South Alliance making every effort to work with our Federal counterparts to provide a complete and accurate picture of the war that shaped America. Although our primary impression is Confederate, The member battalions of the MVB have and will portray our brothers in blue when needed. The Mississippi Valley Brigade does all things with pride and honor to accomplish our goal of educating our sons and honoring our Fathers.
