Today I went to Schutzhund with Astra and
mom, we did the obedience, and I have to say, it was pretty good. Then my mom saw
something behind one of the trees, but seems like I have missed it, then we saw something
move near one of the other trees. at first we were sure that it was a cat or something
like that, but then we noticed to see that it is a rabbit!
As I guess you already know how that
ended, well, a Lurcher is a hound dog, and a hound dog suppose to hunt, so that's what I
did, well, better say, tried to...
Have you ever seen a Lurcher run ? I was
running in the speed of 44 MPH, and my mom called me, but I was too anxious to stop and
look back, but I had to catch that rabbit. I was running for almost 10 minutes after
it,
did you know that rabbits run pretty fast? Well, this bunny ran into a hole in the ground,
and I missed it in 1 mile, just then I got to realized that I have lost my mom! Damn,
where am I?
I ran back to where I came from, and there
I saw my mom, standing there and calling me to come back, and just when I was sure that
she will be angry at me, she smiled and called me back and said that I was a good dog ?!
Boy, I was surprised, I was sure that she will be so angry, but seems that she knows that
I am a hunting dog, after all.

Saturday, March 14, 1999
Today I had my Agility testes, it was good I guess, mom said that it was ok getting the 3rd place :{, because it was in the A2, the higher level. It is the first time that I was competed in that level, so I guess I should let it go this time. These testes weren't the real competition, only to see where I'll compete in the big one. I was wined by a Vizsla and a Golden Retriever, whom working there for more then 2 years, so I guess I can say that I'm in a good place. O, and I didn't feel good that day as well, so mom was ok with it :} .
I got to play with my friends, but Astra didn't come, because he could have disturbed me if he would. Boy, he was so angry when we got back home, but he still loved me as always, the one he was really angry at was mom, he wanted to come to... sorry Astra, maybe next year when you will be old enough!

Dear diary,
How are you?
Yesterday was a very hard day for all of us, Astra got the first place at the dog
ring, but mom wasn't so good at the Junior Handlers competition, but she took it so well,
and for that I must say that I'm proud of her.
Also, I must say about mom and I, at the
Agility championship, we got the 2nd place, out of 9 teems ( a dog and his handler is a
teem ), and all of those that last year went to world championship in Copenhagen, we
passed them all !
The only dog that have passed us was 1 Border Collie, that was less timed in the
Jumping course. The only thing I didn't like on yesterday, is that it was SO hot, for this
I didn't like mom, she gave me a water bath every 30 minutes with allot of COLD
water, but it mad me much energetic, and I could run after that, so I guess it was good
after all.
After all of these things , we got on to
the top stage to get our trophies, when I'll have the picture I'm sure I will place it in
my album, all the people was shouting from joy and the all the doggies were barking, mom
and I look at each other, and the smile on mom's face made me feel so good, to know that I
was with her and she with me, and that together, we are the best teem ever!
Also, mom and I was on the TV on the same day, that showed mom and I when we did our
Agility course, I was so happy that I called mom to tell her that, she was happy as I was,
I have one thing to say to all the dogs out there, that its right that not all the people
are good, but your owners are the best friends ever!

Dear diary,
How are you?
I'm well, we had an Agility test today, but mom and I didn't go because they said
that I'm good enough and that I don't have to do the test. Mom has a new job at a pet
store, and she brought back to me from there, you should hear about what she gave to
Astra... that was so funny!
Mom is about to go to London for two weeks, she couldn't take me with her, however,
she have promised me to take me with her next time to a Lurchers dog show, isn't it
great?! Its going to be my first dog show ever, I hope mom won't be too nervous like she
was at Astra's 1st dog show.
Well, that's all for now, I'll write you next time!

Dear diary,
On this Saturday I had one of my best days at Schutzhund, I did very well at the
tracking and the obedience, mom was very proud of me. When I heard that mom
won't work with me at the SchH training if I won't get better, though I am older
then Astra, then I showed her how good I really am. I think that I was even
better then Astra, well, wishful thinking.
Mom is going to London this Thursday and she promised
Astra and I that she will bring us something... I hope its chewable :) . In 2
weeks we have the International Dog Show and I am very exited about it, many
people are counting on me to make some nice shows, they always make me so nervous!

Monday, December 27, 1999
Dear Diary,
Is it my birthday today and it was one of the best days of my life! My mom took
e to the beach and we've been looking for some nice rocks and shelves. I found a
very funny one; it had 6 legs, and a very hard middle part... I wonder what
breed it was?!
After our walk together, mom took me to have some ice cream, she bought me my
own cup... Mmmm, I love my mom! Then we went to climb trees (well I did, mom
didn't). We took some pictures together and it was quite nice... you can tell
that my mom loves me only by looking at us together!! Anyway, I must go and make
sure that there is nothing missing of my toys' box, so I'll catch up with you
later!
