Thanx for visiting the Home Page of one of THE MOST X-Philian... guy in the galaxy. Actually, that's a bit of an exaggeration. In fact, most of my life is a bit of an exaggeration. Allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Sunrise - Max Sunrise - and I espouse a philosophy which is not very easy to live up to: stoicism. I believe it was the ancient Greeks who invented this. In their eyes, man had to be indifferent to pain; indifferent to the insensitivities of life because that was the only way which man could attain an emotional catharsis.

Why is this important to me? Well, basically because I am a born hedonist; I like to takle each day as it comes and follow Robin William's idea of seizing the day - carpe diem! - yet sometimes, I overdo it and find that I ned some type of spiritual renewal. That's when I found the X-Files and have been hooked to it ever since. I have been hooked to the showby virtue of the fact that it's effect on me is twofold: first of all, it helps me spiritually and secondly, motivates me. In fact it makes me realize that if your belief in something is justifiably strong enough to make you risk your life, then perhaps, it is sometimes worth it to pursue your ambitions or your dreams by any means necessary. To me, it all comes down to Bejamin Franklin's quote.

In fact, I am a great believer of all things esoteric, spiritual and downright strange. Pity really, I only have to look in the mirror each morning...
