We accept for submission poetry, fiction (including flash fiction), creative nonfiction and visual art in the form of
paintings or photography. Submissions may be on any subject (no pornography or offensive material). You may submit fiction
up to 5,000 words. Tell us whether your submission is fiction or creative nonfiction. We do not accept fan fiction. Poets
may submit up to three poems, but please send each poem separately.
Use the submission form for all written submissions. If your work has any special characters or formats (underlining,
italics, etc.), please note that in the special instructions. If you are submitting visual art, please use the second
form. Submit a URL address that is not accessible to the public in order that we might review your work over
the Internet.
Submission timetables are as follows: for Earth (1st quarter) publication, submit by March 1. For Air (2nd quarter),
submit by June 1. For Fire (3rd quarter), submit by September 1. For Water (4th quarter), submit by December 1. All entries
will be considered for the quarter in which they are submitted. All authors/artists will be notified within two months of
acceptance or non-acceptance of their work.
We require one-time publishing rights to your work. You retain all other rights, including copyright. We do accept simultaneous
submissions, but please note in the special instructions if you are submitting the work elsewhere. We do NOT accept previously
published work.
