SWA since 1986 has provided the impetus for many first-time writers to become published, and the environment for both published and unpublished authors to achieve their writing goals.

SWA serves as a writers’ resource and information bank, providing opportunities for you to meet fellow writers and professionals in the writing world. Monthly meetings include open announcements by members about achievements and information about other writing groups, conferences, contests, markets, and publishing trends.

SWA is a non-profit, non-sectarian, volunteer-run organization open to any and all persons who want to improve their writing skills and enjoy the support of fellow writers. Please join us!
