When females are placed in the same tank they can be kept together but keep a eye on them for at least 15 minutes and if you have a male with 2 other female dont just think he'll like em' both . Keep two female in atleast 5 gallons . When I got Earth which she's still alive I put her in with my other female Venus which is now dead they started to fight cause earth was in her teritorty . If you decide to have a betta community tank and if the male was in the tank first , rearange the tank around to confuse him , to think he is in a different tank . Remember Betta's die from a lot of sicknesses , so I'm saying don't over do to with the females .
