Frequently Asked Questions
What are the Alibata made of?
The Alibata is constructed using natural wood from environmentally certified forests. Although some man-made materials are used, the design utilizes the woods’ natural strength.
Will the Alibata ever break?
Yes, because they are wood, they will get dented and gouged and will eventually break. Even synthetic sticks eventually break.
So the Alibata are just like synthetics?
NO. Although the strength of the Alibata is comparable to synthetics. The Alibata are lighter and absorb vibration much better. However, synthetics are just that, synthetic. Therefore, they are stronger and more durable than any sticks made from natural wood.
If the Alibata is manufactured, why don’t two sticks look the same?
Because the Alibata is made from natural materials and hand-made, no two sticks will ever look exactly the same.
What's the difference between the Alibata Escrima Sticks and those ones made of hardwood like ash, maple, and hickory?
Although the Alibata Escrima Sticks are made of natural hardwood, the manner in which they are constructed, using natural and synthetic materials, make the hardwood even stronger while maintaining the flexibility and ability to absorb vibration.
