Plot:
It seems that the Ellimist isn't the only mega-powerful, quasi-omnipotent creature around. He also has an enemy. The Crayak, the one who "plays a dark game." And this game, it seems, consist of pawns. Champions picked by the Ellimist and the Crayak to fight for the fate of a planet -- and a race whose existance could turn the tables of the Animorph's war forever.

When I first read the intro for this book I didn't think it would be very good. You know, the "Big Bad Alien" thing. But this was actually among the best Animorphs series books. I loved the thing with the Iskoort (I'm not dishing about them here, though their story is in the Encyclepedia), and the Howlers, and the cool (and not at all corny) way that in the end, it is indeed Love that conquers all. You have to read this one.
