Homecoming
(Click on images for larger picture)
Home is sooooo much
better than the hospital! We drove home on June 21st and spend most of the day resting and
assembling the remaining baby stuff. |
We decided to get
Noah started early on that suntan. . . Seriously, though, part of the remedy for his mild
jaundice is "photo therapy," and we got a couple of sunny days to make that
possible. Good thing he wasn't born in January! |
Noah began
to be a bit more active around the middle of his first week, but still sleeps most of the
day. There's something about those eyes looking up at you that makes you just melt! |
This is Saturday,
June 26th, and Noah is one week old. It's amazing how much has changed in just a week. We
do about 10 times as much laundry, get about 1/2 the sleep, but love this guy 100 times
more than we thought we could! This is "awake time" with Mr. Bear. |
On Sunday,
we went for our first walk in the stroller. It was a nice jaunt around the neighborhood.
Noah slept through the whole thing! |
Noah's not exactly
smiling yet, but he certainly is a happy little guy. When he's up, he's a little wiggle
worm. . . |
When he's
out, he's out! |
Noah doesn't quite
like being naked, so this is inbetween fusses before giving him a sponge bath. This is
Monday, June 28th. |
After the
bath, Noah had his first "Rocky Balboa" moment. "In the baby blue corner. .
." |
Here's Noah only two weeks old, and he's already a patriot!
Happy 4th of July! |
Noah met Great
Grandma Bev (Grandpa Dean's mom) when she got back from a trip to California on July 5th.
We had four generations in one room. |
Now that
Noah was two weeks old, he began to have a lot more "wakey-wake time."
He's pretty content to just stare at us most of the time. |
