Above and below appears the Viceroy Dry Shaver by the Rolls Razor Company, Made in England this superbly styled razor was hand cranked and later had an electrical version, circa 1937 in Bakelite. A recent addition to my collection (March 2002) ...

This very heavy working Hairdryer dates from the late 40's early 1950's ... Note the streamline design .. similar to a Flash Gordon ray gun ???

Above appears quite a novelty item ... the Sharpex razor blade sharpener by Pifco. 1933... Bakelite and metal, ingenious design that actually works !!!
 
Below are two pictures of another item made by Pifco in Manchester during the mid 1950's .. The Model 1052 Hair Cutter / Swiss made in cream Urea ... costing then the considerable amount of £5 .5.0d, many people earned less than this in a week !!
