THE ACADEMY OF TELEVISION ARTS & SCIENCES SALUTES INDUSTRY LEGEND LLOYD BRIDGES AT "AN EVENING WITH THE BRIDGES: REMEMBERING LLOYD" Video Retrospective and Intimate Discussion with the Bridges Family Thursday, March 18
NORTH HOLLYWOOD (March 4, 1999) -- The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS) and the entire Bridges family will celebrate the extraordinary life and career of Lloyd Bridges on Thursday, March 18 at An Evening With The Bridges: Remembering Lloyd. The event will begin with a video retrospective featuring memorable clips from his early television career. In a casual discussion, wife Dorothy, sons Beau and Jeff, daughter Lucinda and grandchildren Casey, Jordan and Dylan will share their favorite memories of Lloyd as a father, husband, grandfather and actor. Special guests including friends and colleagues Ted Danson, Andy Garcia, Betty Garrett, Bruce Davison, Suzanne Pleshette, Josh Charles, Gogi Grant, John Watson and Kieu Chinh are scheduled to participate in the discussion. Emmy award-winning producer and composer George Daugherty will moderate the event. The program begins at 7:30 p.m. in ATAS' Leonard H.
