Hypertext Literacy

Sue Barnes, Marymount Manhattan College

Review

This article is quite helpful in a sense that it gives a brief and simple background of hypertext. It allows me to know how did the idea of hypertext evolved from then and become what it is today. Furthermore, this article is easy to read. It does not have small wordings that are squeezed together. There are appropriate breaks at parts of the sentences to prevent too lengthy paragraphs and sentences.

There are headings to different sections of the article. The headings are of bigger font size and bold for easy reading. The language use is simple, easily comprehended by the readers. The author creates links to other information such as hypertext barriers and hypertext writing skills. This is especially helpful because this prevents the article from looking too long and boring.

Points from the article help me to understand the relationship between the author and the writer. This will allow me to argue about my point for essay 2 easier.
