 Notes Before Ending

Before I end off, I would like to remind the NUSSU committee to remember to keep the articles posted on the webpage sweet and simple. Make sure that the fonts are readable. Do not commit the same mistake as in the physical copy of The Ridge. The fonts are too small in the copies. The articles are too long to keep the interests of the students.

Most people surf the net to get information. Hence, in The Ridge's webpage, a search form could be included. This search form will enable the students to acquired relevant information such as talks by department heads, bazaars' locations etc within NUS itself.

On the webpage, a "Recruitment for Graduating Students" section could be included. The NUSSU committee would provide relevant information and job vacancies in companies for graduating students to apply for. The NUSSU committee could also try to organise more recruitment drives from companies in NUS. Under the "Recruitment" section, information about when and where the recruitment drives would take place would be given. More interactions between the NUS students would be possible if the NUSSU committee is able to invite ex-students of NUS, who have at least three years of working experiences back to the university to give a talk to the students. This way, students are able to keep in touch and updated with the real working world outside the university.
