Info - Mickey was a team mate of Cowden boss Keith Wright in the Hibs side that lifted the League Cup back in 1991. Regarded as an old-school winger, Mickey enjoyed two highly-productive spells at Easter Road, punctuated by a stint with Luton Town while the Bedfordshire outfit were in the Premiership.
Mickey later turned out for Motherwell and was eventually appointed to the coaching staff. However, enforced austerity measures at Fir Park forced him out of the game until Wright appointed him as his assistant shortly after taking over the hot-seat from Gary Kirk.
