Askain

The land of Askain is ruled by Lord Silverfield. He is a strong man, who has turned to gathering power. He has become ruthless in he dealing with others during business deals. What can be found here:

Badger Hole, The: A seedy bar to the left of the Slaver gates. The owner is a Halfling.

Golblins' Hole: A small rundown inn against the south wall. One night is a copper. The owner is a male Gnome named Pargascor.

Hot Iron: Armor shop run buy a Human, named Drake, who is known for his ability with metal. It is located along the east wall.

Ice Dragon House: This is an Adventure's Guild. You can always find a job here. It is located near the south gate next to The Mermaid's

Smile. The owner is a 1/2 dragon male named Do'Tach. (List of NPCs for hire)

Mage Collage: Here PCs can train for their next level up to 9th level. There are spell scrolls for sale, sometimes there are magic items.

Mermaid's Smile, The: A very nice Inn that would not likely take in Adventures. Their customers are wealthy business men. One night starts

at 10 gold. The owner is a human female named Alexandra. The inn is near the south gates.

Ol' Pony: A run down tavern/inn in near the Slavers. A night is 2 coppers.

Purple Cow, The: A very nice Inn. The owner is a Mage, Boingles (3rd lv, Al: CG) who uses his spells to make peoples' stay better. 5 gold

for a nice room and 3 for an ok room. It is across from the park.

Red Dragon, The: A good place to spend the night or have drink. The owner is a female dwarf named Dwalla (Fighter 7th lv, Al: NG).

All rooms are a gold. The inn is near the east gates.

Rose Gem, The: This is a weapon shop. The items sold are good to excellent quality. It is over priced, but if you want the best its worth it.

The owner is a human male named Thomadus. It is next to the Ice Dragon on the road leading to the south gates.

Silver Unicorn: This is an herb shop. You can restock your supplies or buy pre-made potions. The owner is a female elf named Owen. The

shop is behind the Purple Cow in the same block.

Slade's Blades: Very well made blades for sale. Slade can make pretty much any weapon for the right price. The shop is located along

the south wall next to the Golbins' Hole. Slade is a part time adventurer (Fighter 10th lv Al:CG).

Slavers: Buy a slave (or sell one). Any race (and some monsters) are here. Prices start at 200 gold and can reach 200,000 gold. Visit the

building to the right of the gates to do business. The leader is a Human female named Casondra. The second in charge is an Amizon, Ta'Halla.

Thieves' Guild: PCs can train here up to 9th level. Thieves can sell their abilities here. The guild is against the east wall.

****Note to Players: The people listed with Level (lv), Class and Alignment (Al) could be willing to join the party if the party is lacking players or muscle. The other NPCs do not care to adventure. Remember to check the for hire page.
