I kept looking at the Sancasters that came up in the States when you carried out a seach in Ancestry.com and curiosity
eventually got the better of me and I paid my money.
I have looked at all the entries in the census' including the images and have not found one that I could definately say
is a Sancaster. Most are Lancasters and obvious miss transcriptions. I feel that the early entries are miss transcriptions
Just as in the UK records where Sancasters are entered in the indexes as Lancasters the same could be true in the US records.
The problem is that we have no definate information to work on and to work back from.
