The easy way isn't always the best way. So a lot of time and effort was put into the Celica's safety features. Starting with its high-tensile-strength steel structure -- it has crumple zones designed to help absorb the energy of an impact before it reaches the cabin. Standard dual front air bags (SRS)* and available driver and front passenger side-impact air bags (SRS)* add to its sense of security. And you'll be further comforted by its side-impact-absorbing door beams and soft upper interior trim. After all, once you're tucked in, you'll want every reason to stay there awhile.
