The Basilisk is a slow and weak reptile, but, like the Harpy, its attack is very special. The Basilisk shoots a ball of fire at the enemy. The blast doesn't track, but when it does hit the enemy, the enemy turns to stone instantly. This counts as an insant death. Once stone, the unit can't be healed, but can be resurected by Elsin. Only a few units are imune to the Basilisk:
- Zombie
- Skelental Archer
- Rictus
- Dark Hand
- The Monarchs (of course)
- Buildings
- Stone Giant
- a few others
The Lich is an undead phantom the Necromancer has released from the underworld. The Lich is slow, but can swim, making it a usefull hit and run unit in areas with cannals. The Lich can be summoned from the Temple and can be converted from a corpse via the Dark Hand.

The Dark Priest is probaly my favorite Total Annihilation builder. Not only can it make Divine LoadStones, the Black Dragon, and Fallen Angels, but it can:
- Fly
- Heal
- Clear debris
- Turn corpses into ghouls
- Attack with 3 different types of lightning attack
The Dark Priest makes a perfect vulture in allied attacks. When enemy troops are weak, you can kill them off. When your ally's troops are weak, you can eighter heal them or (if you're evil) kill them off too.
The Fire demon is a slow, but very useful creature. It spits homming fireballs which have an exellent rang.

The rolling tower is an impressive thing. It is the Aramon equivalent of a tank. With Strong armor, archers, and a ballista mounted on top, the Rolling Tower is very formitable.

The Stone Giant is the best ground unit Zhon has to offer. Its armor is exxellent, although it is a little slow. In addition to its tank-like defense, it can hurl boulders at the enemy. The boulders do great amounts of damage and have an equal or better range than the fire demon. The Srone Giant is an invaluable addition to Zhon's forces.
