History

Asuka is a proud and action-paced
young girl and likes to compete with almost everyone. She doesn't like
being a loser. This motivation might came from her childhood past. Asuka's
past is quite dark, even darker than Shinji's. |

Asuka was raised in Germany.
When she was still a young girl, her father left her and her mother. Her
mother couldn't stand her husband leaving and then gone emotionally sick.
Later, she committed suicide and left Asuka behind. These events changed
Asuka and she became the way she is now. Inside she is just feeling plain
lonely. Asuka finished her college in Germany. There she was chosen to
become an EVA pilot and was sent to Japan. She, Rei and Shinji goes to
the same high school together. She is envious with Shinji's ability day
by day, because she wanted to be the best EVA pilot around. This hardens
their relationship sometimes. |
