History

She also has harsh times with his
father. Misato hated her father because he left the family just for
his work. Later on, Misato and her father worked together in the South
Pole in the same team. But something went wrong and killed all the researchers
sent there, including her father.
Misato is the only survivor of the
United Nation's Antartic Expedition Team. |

It was the "Second
Impact". Her father saved her by sealing her inside
a capsule. She realized that her father actually sacrificed himself to
keep her alive during that incident. So she changed, she joined NERV
and with a vengeance. She is also close to Ikari
Shinji and become his guardian. She lives with Shinji and a
pengiun named Pen Pen. She dedicates
all her time to avenge his father's death by doing her best to destroy Angels.
She knew that the "Second Impact" was
not caused by meteorites, but something else... and it is HUGE. |
