Questions About Jesus

Here are 5 questions about who Jesus is. They are yes or no questions, with the 'no' answer ending the string of questions and the 'yes' answer taking the person on to the next question up to number 5. Then a final decision must be made.

------------------

1)Did He Exist?

NO - There was no such historical figure.
    YES

2)Did He Say He Was God?

NO - Myth, Jesus never claimed to be God.
    YES

3)Did He Mean It Really?

NO - He was a guru/pantheist, everything is part of God.
    YES

4)Did He Believe It Himself?

NO - He was a liar.
    YES

5)What Was He?

    Answer: Deluded or Devine

------------------

Question 1 is virtually never a debate anymore, there is way too much evidence for that, just like there is that Lincoln lived and was assasinated.

Question 2 is probably the largest and toughest issue debated today. Examples such as the Jesus Seminar People who have taken it upon themselves to create their own bible by taking out all the verses of supernatural context to make Jesus a normal man with no devine origin.

Question 3 is a pretty controversial question because that is what most Hindus or buddists say because of their beliefs in reincarnation and God.

Question 4 is highly irrational to be answered, "No, He was a liar" because most believe that Christ was a great teacher, regardless of their view of His deity.  If someone actually got to this question, they should answer yes, because they would have gotten hung up on question 2 if they can't answer yes to this one.

Question 5 is usually only reached by those of us who are Christians. Most everyone else gets hung up on one of the previous questions and answers no to it. Not many say that Christ was deluded because [once again] He was such a great teacher.
