FAST Summer Sportsfest 2000
Battle the summer heat with sports activities!
This year, instead of sponsoring a Goodwill Games rematch
with Tokyo, FAST will be holding a month-long sportsfest activity
among the members.
The sports events will start from July
2, 2000 (Sunday), and every Sunday after that -- July 9, 16,
and 23. The culminating activity/awarding ceremonies
will be held on July 23, during a barbecue picnic that will
also serve as the party for the July birthday celebrants.
(And if I may add, also the day when we will decide on the
winner of the LOGO contest!)
Schedule of Games : Sundays, 2-5 p.m.
July 2: Volleyball, Table Tennis
July 9: Basketball, Badminton
July 16: Bowling
July 23: Relays, Group games, Awarding ceremonies, Barbecue
Party, Videoke at JICA (yeah!)
Participation fee is 500 yen. This
is just to cover expenses for the snacks and bowling fees.
We have divided the group into two teams, please coordinate
among yourselves and choose your team name and leader.
