In order to save as much time as possible for everyone, I will share all information I have on the Finney family.

I have recieved a great deal of information on the Casey Illinois Finney's. I recieved this information from Marion Livingston
(Finney) daughter of James Oval Finney of Casey in Crawford county Illinois. Marion lives about 8 miles south of Casey with
her husband Lowell. More about Marion to come.
Marion has given me many Biography's, pictures, letter's and extended family tree's. Thanks Cousin.
My name is Terry Finney, I was born 3/13/49 I'am 56 years old. My father Dean Finney died 2/13/2002. He was 75 years
old. Shortly after his death, I was talking with my cousins about our family and realized that I didn't even know the names
of my great grand parents. I knew that family is very important and I wanted to be able to tell my grand children about their
Finney heritage. This was going to be a "short" heritage. So I became determined to find out all I could, I owe that to all
twelve,(so far) of them. So I started digging, and as most of you know or will find out; the family tree is extremely hard
to climb. At this point I want to thank my lovely wife Janet for putting up with me while spending more time on the computer

06/26/06 NEW INFO TO CHECK OUT, from Barbra and Roy Finney.
They have info that Elijah Finney son of
Joel and Ann Sackett Finney
did not die as an infant, as in my info, and was still alive in 1839, and is also Roy's G-G-Grandfather. See the
info I got from them in Finney Stuff.
