Alright everyone, I'm back. And there is a new part up for "Futures in the Mist." One problem. It hasn't been beta read. "Why?" you ask. Well, I gave my beta readers two months and they just simply didn't get around to it, and I wasn't willing, in that time, to post without their approval. You see, I've become quite dependent on them and they are simply wonderful at editing and giving me advice, but I've waited too long and it's not fair to those of you waiting to read more. So, if you wish to read the non-beta read version, feel free, though I must warn you, that if it does get beta read in the near future, changes may be made. But, it's there if you want it, so enjoy!

Hello all! Happy Spring to those of you in the Northern Hemisphere. It's updating time! Yay! There are two new parts to Futures in the Mist and a new short story that I wrote with Faile and Skyflare. It's a silly fic and chock full o' insanity. I think I've finally found an X-title I can be proud of after being disgruntled for so long. Ultimate X-Men has impressed me and don't be surprised if you see me writing Ultimate fanfic one day. For now I think I'll stick to my Diamonds Arc though. ;) I do want to finish it this life time and I still have two stories planned after Futures in the Mist. Anyway, that's the update for now. Wow, time goes so fast. I hadn't realized it had been so long since I last updated. I've finally decided that I have absolutely no concept of time. I'd like to warn all of you in advance, that if you send me an email asking me when the next chapter of a story will be out, I'm likely to optimistically say "a week". I really do believe when I am saying it that the chapter will be posted in a week, but in reality, that usually ends up being a month. There are usually many unforseen distractions and problems that get in the way. Recently, I've been sick a lot and though I am finally well, it put a bit of a stop on my writing for some time. And then hotmail decided to delete my beta reader's corrections for this latest chapter, so that was another unforeseen delay. Basically, what I'm getting at, is an apology to those whom I have inaccurately given a predicted posting date to. I am really very sorry and I hope you can all understand that predicting completion dates is not a skill of mine. Anyway, there is more to this update than me angsting, there is also a new chapter to Futures in the Mist! Yay! Enjoy!

Hello everyone. Well, I've got not one, but two new chapters up for you all to enjoy. Futures in the Mist I feel is finally underway and the story is starting to sweep me up in it. There is also a new poll. Maybe it shouldn't be called the monthly poll, huh? Well, that's all for now. I have a few links to add, but that will be in the next update. Bye for now!

Hey all. I'm finally back. No, I didn't fall off the edge of the earth into limbo, though I guess limbo couldn't be too bad of a place since that's where Remy now is in the Marvel Universe. Marvel has finally done it to me. I've stopped reading comics. I never thought it would happen too. Don't think that means I'll stop writing though. The stories I write take place in my own version of the X-Universe, and no manner how bad Marvel gets, I'll still love those versions of the characters, based on comics from a better time. Well, the only update for now is Part 5 of Futures in the Mist. I actually wrote that quite a while ago and posted it on fanfiction.net, but I just realized that I never actually put it on my website. So, there it is. Part 6 is a work in progress, and shouldn't take too much longer to complete. I hope. If time cooperates with me, which it usually doesn't. I hope everyone is safe after the September 11th tragedies. I don't live too far out of New York City, but thankfully no one close to me was hurt. Stay safe, and until next time, happy reading!

Hey look, another update only a few days from the last one! Now, that's never happened before. I'm proud to anounce that there has been a new addition to this website: I'm now posting my FanArt here! Please take a look! I still don't want to expand this site too much by taking general submissions, but if anybody has any art that relates to one of the stories on this site, I will be more than happy to post that here. There has also been a few changes made to part 4 of Futures in the Mist, so take a look at the revised version. That's all for now. Bye y'all!

Finally, an update. I think I should have more time soon, so maybe updates can be made more often. I'm sorry to those of you who have been complaining about my not updating enough. I completely agree with you. I'm working on it. So anyway, there are two new chapters to Futures in the Mist. I'd like to add some more links, so if anybody has some that they think belong here, please let me know. Thank you to Melinda for the award she gave this site. If you're reading this, email me, hotmail decided to delete your message and I haven't been able to find your site again. The Monthly (sorta) Poll has been changed too, so go cast your votes over there. Thank you to everyone who voted for me in the CBFFA's. Greetings from limbo. Well, I've finally found some time to make an update. There is a new part of Futures in the Mist (Part 2) up, and there is also a new short story, another TCP. I've been playing around with the whole Common People concept since I've been a bit writer's blocked with my Diamonds Arc. But don't worry, writer's block is only temporary, and I think I'm recovering from my condition now. ;) There is a new poll (finally), so take a look . Hmm... well, I guess that is it. Enjoy!

Okay, so I've been neglecting my website a bit, but I've finally found the time to update. There is a new short story up and the first part to Futures in the Mist has been put up. I've been notified that my Message Board provider will be shutting down, so I've had to choose a new one. I'd appreciate everyone taking a look at the Message Board because I have a question that I posted, which came up when I was working on my Diamonds Arc. And last, but not least, the links and the not-quite-Monthy Poll have been updated, so be sure to take a look at those.

Another update!!! Yay!!! Sorry the update isn't bigger, but there are a few noteworthy additions. I've added a TCP to the short stories section and I've also added the Prologue for the next story in the Diamonds Arc. There is a new monthly poll, please hurry over to vote!!! The links have also been added to (I still have a few more to add, so if your link isn't up yet, it's coming soon), and you never know when a new post may show up on the Message Board. Welcome everybody! No new fanfic this time. But the site has been expanded a tad. Notice the shiny new message board, monthly poll, and links page. I'd love to have everyone's input on the new additions. If anyone has a page they'd like me to link here, send me a note and I'll check out your site. The overwhelming odds are that I'll link it. I'd also like suggestions for future monthly polls. I just wanted to point out again that the fanfiction section on this site is only an archive of my personal work. I'm not accepting submissions right now, sorry. Unless there is an overwhelming demand, this probably won't change anytime soon. The only reason for this is that I don't have the time to make a full archive featuring multiple authors.
Anyway, I hope you all enjoy your stay at Shades of X. Come again! :)

Hello all! Nice of you to visit! So, I've finally got my website up and running. I originally had just the Diamonds Arc on a website at Geocities but I decided I had enough stress in my life and switched over to Tripod. It was a very good decision. This site is still new so it may have a few bugs in it. Please inform me of any such critters by either submitting a comment to the Comments Page or by e-mailing me directly (galaxia_alpha@hotmail.com). Your help is greatly appreciated. As for updates, there are two new additions to the Diamonds Arc. There is the interlude story I've been working on for a while called Tears at the Crossroads, and a Subreality story I wrote in a fit of insanity. Presently, I am preparing work on the second main story of the Diamonds Arc. I am also working on a joint project with Faile and Skyflare that should find its way into the 'Silly Fics' section of the fanfiction on this site very soon. I'm going to try to update this site every two weeks or so, but don't quote me on that. It may just depend on when I have stuff to add to it. Anyway, like I said, let me know what you think. I've got a lot planned and hopefully this little venture will be a big success.
