I looked at Tay, waiting patiently for his answer. He shrugged. "No reason…" he trailed.
I gave him a small nudge with my shoulder. "Well, if there's no reason, don't be down!" I offered a small smile and Tay gave a small grin back.
I was finally getting somewhere. He was hot as hell. Blond hair, blue eyes, five foot ten, six pack, nice ass, and *ahem* to go with the whole godly body.
He looked over at me and I could have sworn he was checking me out. Which isn't a bad thing.
"D-Do you wanna do somethin'?" he asked.
"Um, sure…"
"What'd you wanna do?"
"Whatever," I shrugged.
"Okay…that gives me a lot to work with…" A small smile played on his lips.
"Gee sorry," I replied not too sarcastically and then smiled at him.
"S'okay."
"Now…uh…what do you wanna do?"
"Mickey D's?" Tay offered.
"Um, sure," I replied. McDonald's wasn't the most romantic place, but it was still something.
Tay smiled, got up, and offered me a hand. I took it, got up, and we started to walk. "It isn't too far from here…" he trailed. "I should know…"
I looked at him unsure, not knowing if I should give one of those fake laughs.
Tay smiled gently at me and I gave a small smile back.
It took us about ten minutes to get to McDonald's. We walked through the door and saw Felicity and Ike talking. I spotted Chloe at another table, picking at her nails and lacing up one of her l.e.i. boots.
Tay nodded his head over at them. "C'mon. Let's go break up their chit chat."
I nodded and followed him over to the table. I smiled as we approached them and Ike looked up at us, as did Lic.
"Hey," they both said in unison.
Tay sat down next to Lic and forced me to sit by Ike. It wouldn't have been so bad if he wasn't so retarded at times.
"Would you guys excuse Lic and I for a minute?" Tay asked.
Ike and I both nodded and exchanged glances as a clueless Felicity got up and went to a corner with Tay.
I moved into their bench in hopes of hearing what was said.
I listened intently and tried to keep Ike quiet as I eavesdropped. He droned on about his Gibson and his voice was so dull I could drown him out.
I could only partially hear what was said, but I had a good idea of what was going on.
"Hey…um…I was wonderin' if maybe you wanted to get together sometime," Tay said smoothly. "You know, just you and me…I miss you, Baby."
Lic sighed. "Tay…even if I could go out with you, it would be the same old stuff…"
Tay didn't know what to say to that. "W-What do you mean could?"
"I'm sorta goin' out with…Ike…"
"IKE?" Tay screamed.
I looked at Isaac as he picked his head up, looked around, trying to figure out where the call had come from and put his head back down after giving up.
"Shh!" Lic hushed. "He's sweet…"
"Ike?" Tay yelled again. "Are you blind? Mentally challenged?"
Lic looked at him, hurt. "If me being mentally challenged means loving your brother, than I guess I am." With that, Lic came back to the table.
"That's why I think Gibsons are awesome," Ike concluded his rambling.
"That's great, Ike," I said.
Felicity sat down next to Ike and leaned her head on his shoulder, Tay watching the whole scene. And she knew it.
Suddenly, Tay stormed out of the restaurant and hotly walked down the street.
Me, not wanting to be left with Ike and a certain someone who I could not stand anymore, left.
I jogged quickly down the street to catch up with Tay. "Tay! Yo, wait up!" He was majorly upset and he needed someone to talk to. Why not that someone be me? I caught up to him after he slowed down a bit. "Hey, I heard what happened back there…saw what Lic did too. That was really bitchy of her."
Tay shrugged. "Whatever."
"Aw, you know you don't mean that."
He shrugged again. "What if I do?"
I sighed. I was going to get nowhere with him being this pissed.
