"Sooo, Ike…"
"Sooo, Chloe…" I replied. I wanted to get up enough nerve to ask her out by the time we got back to the house.
"What do you think of Lic?"
"She's pretty awesome."
Chloe nodded and gave me a weird smile. "What?" I asked.
"You two would be adorable together…"
"As a couple?"
Chloe nodded. "Yea."
I shrugged. Lic was my friend. I don't think I could actually be her boyfriend.
"She likes you…you can so tell."
"She does?" I asked, kind of taken back.
"Uh huh," Chloe smiled sweetly. "You should ask her out. You'd be so cute together."
I bit my lip. "You think?" I really liked Cloe. She was so…I don't know. She was awesome though. She made me feel so many things at once. And the strangest part was I loved it.
But Lic…Lic was my baby-doll. She was my little sister.
Chloe nodded. "Definitely. Don't tell me you haven't noticed her flirting."
I thought about it. Lic had changed. Bit I thought it was just…hormones. 'Aw damn those things,' I cussed in my mind.
"You didn't know?" Chloe asked, somewhat astonished.
"I…I…ugh," was my messed up reply.
Felicity returned to the table and Chloe started to get up. She winked at me, which alarmed me. Standing on the bench, she climbed over me and jumped on the floor and began walking toward the restrooms. She seriously thought I was going to do this. I couldn't. No way. Lic was my best friend. She knew just about everything about me…but then again she was really pretty and sweet. It would be easy to love her considering I care so much now.
"H-Hey, Lic?" I stuttered.
"Yea?" Lic replied, looking at me.
"W…Would you go out with me?" I looked at her hopefully.
She took a deep breath and opened her mouth to reply.
