"Okay, so it's agreed that we want to have the ceremony at the First Baptist Church, right?" Jenn asked. It had been almost a month since the party and we had to get things rolling.

"Yea," I replied. Some of these things could be pretty frustrating. "And that we want to have it sometime in late November, early December."

"Right. Then a maximum of one hundred and fifty to two hundred people."

I nodded. "Now we're getting somewhere."

Jenn smiled and breathed a laugh. "Yea. Now, what about bride's maids and ushers?"

"Okay, well, I'm planning on having Tay and Zac both as best men. I can't choose between them," I said as Jennifer briskly scribbled it down in her notebook. "Then Mackie as the ring barer…and Justin and Garry as the ushers." Jenn nodded. "Okay. Jess is gonna be my maid of honor. Megan, Susan, and Chloe my bride's maids and my four-year-old cousin, Morgan, the flower girl."

"Alright. Looks like we're getting this going faster than we thought."

"That's good…more time to spend with you." I smiled at Jenn and kissed her nose. I got up from the couch, walked to the kitchen, and got a Pepsi out of the fridge.

"Want anything?" I asked.

"Umm, Sprite if you have it," she replied, scribbling away in her notebook.

"With the way you drink it? We're always stocked up," I smiled.

"Oh please," she rolled her eyes.

"I caught a smirk on that face. I know you better than that," I said and put the can down on the table.

She smiled up at me, "I know you do." Suddenly, she put her pen down and rested her head on her right hand.

"What's the matter, Hon?" I asked.

"Well, considering we're getting married, we're gonna have to be getting our own place…" she trailed. "AND we'll most likely be sharing a room. What do we do till then?" There was a pause between us. "I mean, this is not ALL about THAT, but I want to be with you just as much during the night as I am during the day."

"Oh, I know…Maybe my 'rents will let us take the old place. You know, MOE headquarters. I mean, we really don't use it anymore considering MOE has another place. Who knows, maybe they'll even let us move in like, a few months early."

"That would be cool," Jenn replied. "We'll have to talk to all four of them later."

"Yea. Do you want to start on guests now?" I asked.

"Oh, God…you or me first?" she asked.

I laughed. "Either way we're gonna be here for awhile."

Jenn giggled. "Um, then I guess I'll go first." I watched her, entranced by her beauty, as she made a tally of family and friends. She would occasionally mouth a name, as if to remind herself. I scooted closer and began rubbing her shoulders. "Oh my God," she breathed. "You really now how to get my attention huh?"

"Geez, you're really tense. Maybe we should take a break," I suggested.

"Sounds good to me," Jenn replied as she leaned onto me and I enveloped my arms around her. I leaned back so I was half lying on the couch. Jenn was lying next to me, rather half on top of me, half to the side, with her head on my chest and her right hand on my stomach. Her eyes were shut and she was already half asleep. As was I. We were both so tired. We had been working on the wedding plans all day today. We had also had our first pre-marriage fight. It was about the invitations we were trying to pick. It was one of the stupidest things to fight over now that I look back. I heard myself snore lightly and felt the grip Jenn's left hand had on my shoulder loosened. She was falling deeper into sleep, which meant it would be harder to wake her up. I wanted to get her up, but I was just so tired, I hadn't the energy. I heard someone enter the room, and I slit my eyes open. That's all I could do. It was Tay. He took a throw cover off of the recliner and covered the two of us. "I'll call Angela for ya, okay?" he whispered.

"Thanks," I replied as quietly as I could.

Taylor smiled and nodded as he walked toward the kitchen. I only half heard the one-sided conversation. I had only been half listening in the first place. "I love you, Jenn," I whispered before falling into a peaceful sleep.

Outside, Zac was just getting out of Tay's car from his date with Jessica. The two had gone for a pizza dinner and a movie. He sighed, pulling his key from his pocket and unlocking the door. 'I hope we end up like Ike and Jenn…' he thought. He entered the house to a surprisingly peaceful setting. Before he had left, all hell had broken loose. Jenn and I were fighting and mom was arguing with Jessie and Avie to clean their rooms. Zac heard a rustling coming from the kitchen and decided to go talk to whoever was in there about his date with Jess. Passing through the living room, he saw Jennifer and I asleep on the couch. "I guess you two settled your differences," he spoke softly. He smiled and continued walking to the kitchen.

"Hey, Zac," Tay greeted.

"Hey, Zac. How was the date?" Walker asked.

"Hi. It was GREAT! We had a BLAST!" Zac exclaimed.

Walker chuckled. "Glad to hear that, Son."

Zac smiled his toothy grin. "Yep! We went down the street for pizza first. Jess told me earlier that she refused to go anywhere expensive. She even suggested it. Then we went to the theater and saw the re-release of 'Ever After'. I thought it was gonna be really corny, but it was actually really good!"

Tay laughed at how his brother was talking a mile a minute. "Glad you had fun, Zac," Walker said.

"Same here, bro," Tay voiced.

Zachary smiled again and looked into the living room where Jennifer and I were still asleep…and probably would be all night. "I'm guessing they made up?" Zac asked, still looking at us.

"Are you kidding me?" Taylor asked. "Like two minutes after you left, they were cuddling and kissing and doing what they usually do."

"Did Ike say who he wanted for ushers and such?" Walker asked.

"Well, he didn't say anything to us, but I heard him and Jenn going over it. He said that he wants both of us as best men. Then Garry and Justin as ushers and Mackenzie as the ring barer," Taylor informed.

"Cool! This night just gets better and better!" Zac grinned again. "I think I'm gonna turn in…just to make sure nothing bad happens that can ruin anything."

"Okay," Tay said.

"G'night, Zac," Walker and Taylor said in unison.

"Night, Dad. Night, Tay," Zac said and quietly walked through the living room and up the stairs.

"You called Angela?" Walker asked.

"Yep," Tay laughed. "Both of them were out. I knew Jenn wasn't going anywhere."

Walker chuckled. "No, not tonight. Those two have been going all day. They really want this."

"Yea," Taylor replied. "I still can't believe this is happening though. I mean, they've been together for so long. I didn't think it could stay like this."

"I know," Walker spoke. "I know. It's hard for your mother and I to let you boys go. You three have all grown into such responsible young men."

Tay smiled at his dad. "That means a lot."

"It should."

"Can I ask you one question?"

"Shoot," Walker replied.

"What did you think of Jennifer at first? Did you like her?" Tay asked.

"She was polite, courteous, and had a personality. So, yes, I did. She treated you as you treated her. Did you?"

"Not really. She was like, too weird for me, or something. I mean, like, I expected her to be this obsessed fan, in which she was a long, long time ago, so I basically stayed away a bit. Ike on the other hand, opened up to her and treated her like one of his best friends. I think I was kind of jealous of that too. I mean, Ike found this girl that he liked, that would travel with us, and she was like a great friend of his. I wanted something like that, but I knew I couldn't have it. Ya know?"

"To a certain extent, yes," Walker replied.

Taylor smiled at Walker. "Well, I think I'm gonna turn in. It's already like, ten and I'm exhausted."

"Alright, Tay. Goodnight."

"G'night, Dad."
