"What, Mac?" I asked, my voice much deeper than it usually was.
"Mom told me to wake you up. It's 10:45 already."
"Okay. Thanks, Mac."
"Mom wants you to wake Jenni up too," Mackenzie informed.
"Okay, I'll do that, Mac," I said, yawning.
"Otay, Ikey!" Mackie ran back upstairs.
I opened my eyes and looked down at Jennifer. The first thing that came to my mind was a sleeping angel. I smiled down at her and gently shook her.
"Jenn," I softly spoke. "Jenn, come on, Hon. It's time to get up."
She stirred and slit open her eyes. "Morning, Hon," she said and hugged me.
"Morning," I hugged back.
Jenn sat up and tried to straighten her hair. I sat up and did the same. Jenn laughed and tried desperately to help me. "You need a hairbrush," she concluded.
I laughed and stood up. "You can probably take a shower and have breakfast here if you want. I'm pretty sure Mom has your clothes from last week when we did this."
Jennifer smiled. "You have to stay at my place tonight."
"Oh yes. Tradition must go on," I grinned.
"You know it," she replied. "So, where may those clothes be? Laundry room?"
"Yep. I'll take a shower down here while you're up."
"Are you sure you don't want the upstairs? This one doesn't bug me."
"No. That's okay," I replied. "I insist."
Jennifer sighed and smiled. "Ike, I'm your fiancé. You don't have to be as sweet as you are every waking moment."
I smiled. "You only deserve the best."
She grinned back at me. "As do you."
I smiled once more as we separated to take our showers.
I showered as quickly as possible, wanting to be in Jennifer's arms and have her in mine.
After twenty minutes, I entered the living room, my hair soaked, to see that Jennifer still wasn't there. She never took that long to shower. Suddenly, I heard the hair dryer start up. I ran up the steps, taking two or three at a time.
After almost ramming into an only half-awake Taylor, I found Jenn. She was sitting on my bed, drying her hair.
I smiled to myself as I sat down next to her on the bed. She smiled at me and stopped drying her now damp hair and moved onto mine.
Gently she went over my hair with the hot air from the dryer. She was turning me on and she knew it. Slowly, she came in and kissed me softly on the cheek. I turned my head and smiled at her. "You know what you're doing."
"What?" she asked in an innocent tone.
"You know what," I replied after she turned off the dryer. She smiled innocently. I smiled wider as she wrapped her arms around me from behind and put her head on my shoulder. I turned my head to face her. She smiled her golden smile. I smiled back and neared in for a kiss. Jennifer kissed back and I deepened it. I turned around and laid Jenn down. I felt Jennifer's hands roaming around my back under my shirt. As for mine, they were under her shirt, going over her stomach repeatedly.
We probably would have kept going if we hadn't heard a quite loud, "Ahem," from the doorway.
Jenn and I pulled apart quickly to see Taylor in the doorway. "Don't you know how to knock?" I grumbled.
"Well, excuse me. I didn't expect you to be so…ON TOP of things."
I took notice that Jenn was blushing pretty hard. I must have looked the same way. "What do you want, Tay?"
"Nothing for you, but, Jenn, your mom called. She wanted me to remind you that you and the girls are going looking for gowns today."
"Ohhhh, that's right!" Jenn exclaimed. "Thanks."
"Sure thing. Don't get too preoccupied now," Taylor said, smiling, before running out of the room.
"Sorry about him," I spoke. "He's retarded."
Jenn smiled softly. "Ike, I've known him since I was twelve and a half. I'm used to him."
I smiled at her. "You're going gown shopping?"
"Yea," she sighed. "I don't know how I'm going to handle being without you all day."
"I think the better question is how'm I gonna get through the day without YOU?"
"We're just going to have to take it a minute at a time," she spoke. "Are you going tux shopping with Tay, Zac, Gary, and Justin?"
"Yea. I don't know if I should take Mackie. What do you think?"
"You might as well. I'm taking Morgan."
"Okay then, I will," I replied.
"Well, I better get going before Mom calls again," Jenn said.
"Ohhh," I moaned. "Do you have to?"
"Yea. I should be home by five. Maybe we could do something tonight," Jenn said.
"Okay," I replied and kissed her. "I'll see you later."
"Bye," she spoke. Slowly our hands dropped.
"Bye."
