Zachary sighed loudly and leaned back against the couch as the two giggling, annoying as anything girls left the room. “Are we almost done?” he asked Jason, the group’s bodyguard, tiredly.

“Almost, Kiddo. Two more girls to go. They seem pretty calm…and kinda cute,” he grinned at the guys knowingly. Two cute, calm, girls would be a great way to end this performance.

“Bring ‘em in,” Ike said, smiling a bit, and hoping Jason was right. Jason nodded and headed to the door. “Ladies…” he said with his deep voice, guiding them into the room.

Isaac, Taylor, and Zachary stood up and watched the open door patiently. They saw a tall girl enter followed by a rather short one. They both smiled softly up at the three.

Tay stuck a hand out to the taller girl. “Hey, I’m Taylor.”

“Libby,” the girl replied.

Ike smiled. “Cool name, Libby,” Zac shook her hand.

“Yea, awesome,” Ike nodded, smiling widely, shaking her hand gently.

Libby couldn’t help but blush. Isaac had just complimented her on her awesome name.

The shorter girl was standing behind Libby, blushing, trying to stay hidden. Zac spotted her and walked slowly over behind Libby, right by the girl. “Hi, I’m Zac,” he whispered loudly, smiling a bit.

The girl smiled and blushed. “Jenn,” she whispered in the same tone. She put a finger to her lip. “Shhhh, I’m hiding.”

Zac smiled wider. “From who?”

“Hanson,” Jenn couldn’t keep from smiling anymore as her lips curled into one of her cuter smiles.

“You wanna sit down?” Ike asked Libby.

“Sure…” Libby blushed more and followed him to the couch to sit down. She looked over at Jenn to shoot her some eye messages, but she was already lost in Zac’s chocolate brown eyes. She smiled.

Isaac sat down next to Libby and looked at the table that still had a few pictures left for autographs. “Do you…”

Libby smiled a bit and shrugged some. “You don’t have to.”

Ike smiled. “I will. Before you guys leave.”

Libby looked at him, a bit taken back. “You want us to stay?”

Isaac blushed. “Well, if you don’t want to…you don’t have to,” he trailed.

“No! No, I want to. It’s just kinda strange. That’s all,” Libby smacked herself. That sounded so dumb.

Isaac smiled. “Well…I’m glad you wanna,” he said lowly, hoping neither of his brothers would hear. He looked around and saw Zachary and that other girl, Jennifer sitting in the corner. He turned his head to see Taylor walking out the door. “I’m gonna go get a soda or something…” he trailed, sensing the four wanted to be somewhat alone.

Isaac nodded and looked back at Libby. “So,” he began. “Where you from, what do ya like to do? Tell me about yourself.”

Libby smiled, took a deep breath, and began to talk, choosing her words carefully. Hopefully she wouldn’t come off as some monstrosity to him, of all people.

Jennifer watched Zachary’s lips move energetically as he told her everything he could about himself, hoping for the same in return. He told her of so many things, she could hardly remember what he had started out with. “Music is just awesome all around,” Zachary continued his informative meandering. Jennifer smiled; thinking the speed he was talking at was just adorable.

She nodded, agreeing with him on his last point. “Definitely. I listen to everything. Things like, Hanson and 98º to Green Day and Everclear.”

Zac smiled. “Do you listen to us a lot?”

Jennifer smiled back and nodded her head slightly. “You could say that.”

Zac smiled wider. “That’s awesome.” There was a short pause between the two. “So…what’re you like?”

Jenn smiled a bit and closed her eyes to think. “I’m like a lot of things. I can be the nicest person you’ve ever met or your worst nightmare. I love literature and right now I’m at the beginning of ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’. I like more spiritual works though. Things I can associate myself to. Things that give you hope and push you to live on. They make you feel that no matter how bad things may get, there’s always going to be someone to love you. Also, if things are as bad as they can get, they can’t get any worse. I like to go outside anytime of year and gaze into the heavens. I love the stars. Staring up into the sky, searching for and finding any of the constellations, is one of the best feelings in the world. It makes you think, ‘What else is out there?’”

Zachary looked at her, astonished. For such a quiet, reserved girl, she sure had a lot to say. And think.

Jennifer blushed and looked away. “Sorry. I’ve went and started rambling again.”

Zac shook his head robustly. “No, not at all. It’s just that…I’ve never met anyone so artless before. None of our fans have ever spoken so sincerely before.”

Jenn blushed again, a little deeper than the pink she already was. She parted her lips to speak, her voice coming out gentle and summery. “I’m not like any of the other fans.”

Zac nodded. “Yea…I know…now.”

Jennifer stared deeply into his brown eyes, entranced by the warmth found in them. Her icy blue eyes always came off as cold and spiteful. She hated that. If maybe they had been a darker, deeper blue someone could find that she never meant to stare at people the way she did. As she lost herself in his exquisite eyes, she could only hope she didn’t have a stare of hatred toward him. God knows that’s the last thing she wanted.

Isaac stared at Libby as her voice mesmerized him. She was gorgeous. Ike had never even thought of crushing on a fan before, but now he was considering being lenient with that personal rule. If he didn’t, then he would be in some trouble due to he had already fallen for her, flat on his face to be exact. Isaac watched her, engrossed in the story of her life. She hadn’t told him much, but as little as it was had been plenty for him. He had met so, so many people in the past two years. ‘Two years,’ he thought. ‘It’s so hard to believe it’s been two years.’ Isaac pushed the thought from his mind and focused on Libby. Her intriguing eyes, her perfect hair, her enticing lips. Her lips. They had been his main focus for the majority of the conversation. ‘I wonder what it would be like to kiss her,’ Ike pondered. ‘Ugh, Ike, you’re retarded. You know that? She’d never consider going with you.’

“Now that I’ve bored you out of your mind…” Libby trailed, smiling lightly.

“No! No way!” Ike smiled and blushed lightly. “You seem really cool.”

Libby blushed along with him. “Thanks…So do you.”

Ike smiled gently at her. ‘You’re so beautiful my eyes hurt to look away from you. My heart aches to love you. My hands yearn to entwine with yours. My lips strive to brush against yours, even if it were for the smallest fraction of what we call time. Its memory would last eternity.’ Isaac tried not to stare, but couldn’t help it. His eyes raised to hers and he almost murmured lightly the thoughts that were going through his head.

“Are things always as crazy as they were today?” Libby asked, trying to get a conversation started. The way he was staring at her was freaky, in a good way. Isaac snapped out of his daze and smiled. “Pretty much. This one was actually pretty calm; a lot of teenyboppers, but calm.”

Libby laughed gently and shook her head. “I don’t know how you do it. My ears are still ringing.”

“Earplugs,” Ike said simply. “That’s the only thing that’s spared our hearing for this long.”

Libby smiled at him. ‘He’s so adorable. Gawd, I would give just about anything to go with him. Ugh, that’s a teenybopper’s dream. I’m a fan. That’s all, just a fan. You are so gorgeous though.’
