Kim, Taylor, Jenn, and Zac were all up in Kim’s room, veggin’ out. The blinds were shut and the doors were closed as the movie played. Kim and Tay were up on the bed and Jenn and Zac were on the floor. “Shit!” Jenn cursed, as Freddy jumped out of nowhere. She covered her eyes quickly, but left a space open so she could see what happened.
“C’mere, you,” Zac whispered, pulling Jenn into his lap.
Jenn smiled up at him and rested her head against his chest.
Taylor sat in the same position with Kim, on the bed. He eyed Zac and Jenn some. How could she do that to Sean? Technically, they were still going out, right? He shook his head some and held Kim closer, praying that she would never do that to him, even though he knew she wouldn’t.
Suddenly, the doorbell rang.
“Holy!” Jenn exclaimed, jumping some.
“Who the hell could this be now?” Kim wondered aloud. “Tay, come on down with me.”
Tay nodded and they both jogged down the stairs.

Meanwhile…

Zac and Jenn were talking quietly as they waited for the other two to return. The video was paused and they were getting comfortable. Zac’s lips grazed over Jenn’s neck. “I love you,” he whispered, his hot breath hitting her neck. Jenn’s eyes met his, “Do you really?” she asked quietly.
Zac nodded. “I really think I do.”
“Where the hell are they?” the two heard yelling.
“Who do you th—“ Zac was cut off as Sean stormed into the room.
“What the frig?”
“Sean? What are you doing?” Jenn yelled.
“No, Jenn, the question is what are you doing?”
Jenn went speechless for a moment. “Sean, I wanted to do this yesterday, I don’t want to see you anymore.”
“Excuse me? No, Jenn. You’re not breaking up with me. Because I’m breaking up with you.”
Jenn looked at Sean bewildered. “Well, I guess that’s too bad, huh, Sean?”
“Guess it is, Jenn…for you.” With that, Sean stormed out of the room and left the house.
Jenn flipped him off as his back was turned to her. “What an asshole,” she stated.
Zac stared at the doorway where Jenn was looking.
“Ugh,” she shook her head.
“Hey, don’t worry about him,” Zac said, wrapping his arms around her.
“Yea, yea, I know,” Jenn replied.
“Hey,” Zac spoke, a tone lower. “You’ve got me.”
Jenn gave a light smile. “Thanks,” she replied, turning and wrapping her arms around him.
Zac’s arms tightened around Jenn. “As I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted, I love you, Baby.”
Jenn smiled. “I love you, too,” she replied.
Zac’s smile widened. “Really?” he asked.
Jenn nodded. “Really.”
“Aww! Isn’t it a Kodak moment?” Tay exclaimed.
Zac and Jenn jumped some, not expecting to hear Taylor’s voice.
“Shut up,” Zac blushed.
Jenn smiled and kissed Zac’s cheek. “I’ll give you a Kodak moment,” Jenn whispered, just loud enough so Zac could hear.
Zachary grinned and wrapped his arms tighter around her.
Kim and Taylor walked into the room and laid down in their spot on the bed. No one said a word about what just happened. Maybe it was better that way.

Later that night, Jennifer laid in her room, trying to get her mind off of the bad break up her and Sean had had. How could she face him tomorrow? Her mind trailed to what was said earlier at Kim's house. Tears welled up in her bright blue eyes. Why did they have to have such a bad break up? She sniffed as the tears came slightly harder. Even if she was going to break up with him, she still kinda missed him. Well, not missed him, because she did have Zac. She used to have fun with Sean. She would miss the fun. That's what she would miss. Jenn took in a deep breath and wiped her eyes. Maybe everything would be better in the morning.
Later, at the Hanson household...
"I feel kind of bad, you know? But I like her a lot, and I don't know. I want her to be mine," Zac spilled to Taylor.
Tay nodded. "I don't want to get in the middle of this, between you and Sean, but if you want me to talk to him, I will."
"Thanks," Zac replied. After a short pause, he spoke again, "You think I did the right thing?"
Tay took in a breath. "If I was in your predicament and Sean was yours or Ike's best friend, then I think I would."
Zac nodded. "What time is it?"
"Like, nineish."
"Should I call her?" he asked.
"Whatever you want, Dude."
Zac nodded. "Where's the portable?"
"Uhh..." Taylor looked around and grabbed it from his bed. "Here."
"Talking to Kim before?" Zac grinned.
Tay blushed some. "Yea."
Zac smiled, shook his head, and walked out of the room, dialing Jenn's number.

At the same time...

Kim laid down on her bed. She was on cloud nine. Tay's and her relationship had been going great. Ever since the dance, they had been like, perfect. She always such a good time with him. The four of them always had a blast. Kim sighed heavily. She couldn't wait to see Taylor tomorrow. Her eyelids fell lightly and she fell into a deep sleep.

Meanwhile...

Jennifer awoke to the sound of the phone. "Hello?" Jenn answered, groggily.
"Hey," Zac answered. "Did I wake you up?"
"No, no," Jenn replied. "What's up?"
"Nothin'," Zac replied, with a smile. "I'm missin' you, Baby."
Jenn smiled lightly. "I miss you too."
"At least we have a few classes together," Zac replied.
"Foreal. I'm gonna miss you during the rest of the classes."
"Mmm, we have to hang out tomorrow, the four of us."
"Yea, that'd be cool."

The bell rang signaling the beginning of homeroom. Kim was at her locker with Taylor, talking and getting her books. "Hey, there's the bell," Taylor said. "Gotta go, Hun. Talk to you later," he said, giving her a kiss.
"Bye, Hun," Kim said, waving.
The school day went by fast. She had most of her classes with Jenn, and a few with Zac, but because Taylor was a Junior, she didn't see him except for on the stairs and his occasional visits to her locker.
Eventually, lunch came around. All four of them had lunch together. So, they all decided they would sit together. As usual, Jenn and Kim got there after the bell. So now, they faced the difficult task of finding their boyfriends in the crowd.
"Do you see them?" Jenn asked.
"Naw, you?" Kim asked.
"Nope." Jenn craned her neck to see over and around everyone.
When they had just about given up on looking for Tay and Zac, and were just about to sit down by themselves, they heard someone calling them. They looked over and there they were.
"Hey, where were you two?" Tay said.
"Looking for you," Kim said, kissing him on the cheek. They all sat down, Jenn by Zac and Kim by Tay.
"Zac, do you have the algebra homework?" Jenn asked.
"Yea, here," Zac said, handing her the crumpled piece of paper which she proceeded to copy from.
"Did you understand any of that?" Kim asked Zac.
"Nah."
"Oh! So I'm copying all the wrong stuff, huh?" Jenn said.
"Beggars can't be choosers, now can they?" Zac said, giving her a little peck on the cheek.
Just then, Sean came up to Taylor and whispered in his ear. No one else could hear what he said.
Tay gave Kim a look, saying he had to go talk. He got up and went with Sean.
"What was that all about?" Kim said.
"I have no clue," Jenn replied.
"Don't worry about it," Zac voiced, holding Jenn's hand and giving her a kiss to comfort her.
About ten minutes later, Tay came back. No one said a word. When he sat down, he leaned over and whispered in Kim's ear.
"Sean said that if I hung out with you guys, me and him wouldn't be friends. I told him this was childish, but he said that what Jenn did to him was childish. He said that I wouldn't have to stay away from you. Just from Jenn, but I know how hard that is for you. I have no clue what to do. He's my best friend." Taylor sat back and looked in Kim's eyes.
"Taylor, let's talk about this later when we're not with them, okay?"
"Yeh, I understand." The rest of the day went by pretty fast. Soon, it was the end of eighth period. Kim went to her locker. She was getting all her stuff together. Just then, she felt arms around her waist and turned around to see Taylor's big blue eyes.
"Hey, I figured I would walk you home and we could talk," Tay said.
"Sounds good, Hun." Kim got the rest of her books and they headed out of the school. They started to walk to Kim's at first they walked in silence. Then, Taylor broke the silence.
"So, what do you think I should do about Sean?" Taylor asked.
"Well, I think you should do what you want. I understand what you are going through, but I mean, come on, Taylor. Sean has been your friend way longer than Jenn. I am not saying I like the idea of this, but Sean is your best friend."
"What should I do about lunch? Sit with him or you guys? I can't believe he is making me do this."
"Tay, sit where you want to sit, do what you want to do. You know that if you pick Sean, in reality, all of us will be there for you," Kim said.
"Thank you so much. I knew you would, and always will be there for me and I will always be there for you. I love you."
"I love you too."
Tay leaned in and kissed her. He wrapped his arms around her and hugged her so tight. They walked the rest of the way hand in hand.
