Zachary sat happily on a plane yet again about a month later. He was going home. Finally, he was going home. They had been on the plane for the past seven hours.

Just about everyone was asleep on the large plane. Zac couldn't sleep though. He was on his way home, how could he sleep? Zachary laid his head back nonetheless and closed his eyes, a small smile playing on his lips.

Slowly, so slowly, Zac began to fall into a deep sleep.

A few hours later...

"Zac. Zac, Baby, wake up," Diana shook her son gently.

Zac gave a soft moan.

"C'mon, Baby, time to go home."

Zac smiled gently and stretched slightly. He gave a soft yawn as he stood up and picked up his carryon bag. He walked off the plane with his family and headed to the baggage claim. Everyone adjusted their watches as they waited. Zac took notice it was two o'clock. Jenn would be getting home from school within fifteen minutes. He smiled, hoping he could be there to greet her on her way home.

The family got their bags and headed out side to their van. Within ten minutes, they were on their way home. Zac's grin was wide, unable to be wiped away for anything.

Once they pulled up, Zac hopped out and looked up a few houses to see if anyone was coming. No one was so he sighed slightly and got his carryon and suitcase from the back of the van. He walked in the house and dropped his things in his room.

He began walking down the stairs, slowly at first, but began bounding when he heard a school bus speed by.

He grinned as he ran to the sidewalk and began speed walking up the street. The bus stopped a few houses away from his. A girl Zac didn't recognize stepped off the bus, followed by another unfamiliar girl.

Confused, Zac watched the bus take off again. Thinking Jenn just might have been sick; he turned around and began walking.

"Zac?" he heard from behind him.

It was Jennifer's voice...but more peppy, high pitched.

He turned around and looked at the two girls. They were both in the uniforms from Jenn's school and their skirts were hiked above their knees.

"Jenn?" Zac asked, confused.

"Ohmigod! How are you?" asked the girl with short shoulder length hair and the shorter skirt.

"Jenn?" Zac asked again. That wasn't Jenn. Her hair was so long...her skirt was so long. Her socks were never pulled up as they were now. She was never so peppy.

The shorthaired girl nodded. "Yea!"

"Wow," Zac said breathlessly.

Jenn gave a small laugh. "Like the new look?"

Zac was speechless. He stood there, looking her over from head to toe. "Wow...you look...different."

Jennifer smiled a small, content smile-a new smile to Zac.

"I hate to run, but we gotta go...Rach and me are making the decos for the eighth grade dance...maybe I'll catch ya later," Jenn smiled and began walking to the front door of her house.

Zac nodded. "Bye..." he trailed.
