Suzuki Students: |
Play a
review of the Suzuki repertoire from the beginning up
to where they are currently playing. This assures me that all points of
technique have been
covered.

Traditional Students: |
It is important that these students begin the same listening program as
my other students. They will be taught to play a review of the Suzuki repertoire from the
beginning up to their current ability level. It is
important that the ear and memory be trained by playing the beginning easier pieces,
allowing
them to concentrate on new techniques and abilities. When the student is patient
with this process, they will move quickly ahead in the literature and
play with a new maturity level and production of good quality sound.
School orchestra students typically move to the top of their class in a
year or two using this program.
