Ahh...
Time goes by and I still have a very soft spot in my heart for
this old buddy. Nothing can or ever will replace Quake. Being
the first real “three dimensionally free" game that
was network "friendly". I think EVERYONE played this
game at one point, teachers and students alike. It was just
soo cool.
The following is my farewell to Quake. I have once and for
all put up my broomstick. This old quakers done. I will take
you for a trip down memory lane and end with a nice finally.
