Comment: Miss Marcia Higgs, please forgive me saying you are very beautiful, sexy and gorgeous
all at the same time. Not to mention you are talented. I had no idea that Joe Higgs produced such
juicy fruit. I just happened to be browsing the net and came upon Joe Higgs' site so I clicked
in and there I saw a link to your site. So I clicked in and once I got in I could not get out. Love your site. Very informative. Love your navigation bar. Very creative. Can't wait for your
"LISTEN UP" page. There's a JOE HIGGS SCHOOL OF MUSIC here in Acton and
I am curious, is this a Higgs family establishment? Just so you know, I
own a couple of clubs here in Massachusetts and a few in other states so if you'd like we could
get you some cabaret shows and set up a tour. I know I have exceeded
my allotted time and space but where in the world do you live? By the
way, I love your pics. It's good to finally see what you look like. The pic with Shaggy shows
your father in you and I love that ruff neck tom-boy look. Shows the dancehall side of you. I could go on and on. Please, I eagerly await your reply.
Marcia's Response: Hello there Steven Myers, thanks for the word(s). I really do not
know how to respond here but I believe your commentary is a little "deep seated." Well... unlike so many others,
it is still printable material (LOL). Anyhow Sir, I sent you an email with my info. I am in office Mon - Fri between
9 - 5. Please connect so we can discuss all this in detail. Incidentally, do you always say such nice things to all the
ladies out there or do you sometimes exercise caution... hmmm?

Comment: Greetings in the name of His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Haile Selassie I The First,
Jah-Rastafari. To the I, Sister Marcia Higgs, I & I send I blessings. I & I love the way the
I display a vent on the I (not so popular) website for One & One to donate to "HURRICANE KATRINA" victims. That
is so thoughtful of the I. No other personal Reggae website have yet established this kind of vent. The Ethipoian World
Federation Incorporated, Melkezedek Charter, Local #2, elevates the I. Blessed Love! JAH
RASTAFARI...
Marcia's Response: Thank You "Zeb" for your kind, encouraging words, but when I saw
the devastation of this hurricane, and saw how very little was being done to rescuse these people, I cried. It is sad. I began
to feel in my heart that this lacking was race oriented way before those views got public. I felt this way mainly because,
when the Tsunami hit, those people got some real-time help. But let us not forget that the victims of the Orient
still got much more attention than the victims of the African Continent. But what can I say? The longer we live,
the more we learn every day. But let us do our part to help each other, irrespective of COLOR, CREED, or NATIONALITY...
One Love!!!

Marcia's Response: Hey There Mimi, My Dear,
It is so good to hear from you. I am quite interested in doing some shows with your Enterprise, but
I won't be heading that way till around December. However, within a couple of weeks from now, I will let you have "something
in your hands." Please do not loose faith in me... I am not a bad business person. So, your boys are heading to Japan in February... wish
I could go with them too. Will this be an extensive tour or just a show date? Let us discuss the details later.
I'll be in Jamaica this week doing some work, Sept 14 - 16, but I will be back on the 17th. I'll be in touch... I mean... seriously!!!

All the best to you always, Your Sister,
Anna Fisher
Comment: Just saw my link on your site.
Give thanks, Sis! Love you always,
Anna Fisher
Comment: Greetings Pinky,
Congratulations on the arrival of your irie new site!
As you know, I knew your dad, Joe Higgs very well
and my favorite work of his is the collection that you
and he did together, especially, "For All Mankind" as
I knew how much his children meant top to him and I
feel he wrote these songs with you with the clearest
vision for the future of humanity as the two of you
could create. I know you miss him still today and just
wanted to let you know how proud I am that you have
kept his and your names out there. May Jah continue
to provide guidance and protection to you and your
beautiful family. Love you always!
Anna Fisher
Marcia's Comment: Oooooh Anna, I must admit that
your comment sends tears... streaming down my face.
I have never felt sooo emotional reading any comments
I've received. YOU KNOW I MISS MY DAD!!! It is never
easy re-living the years, and especially not his ultimate
moments in this life, as I can never seem to hold back my
tears. All in all, I feel blessed and privilleged to have spent
so much time with my Father, in studio, on the road, and
more than anything else, at home. Like all children and
parents, we had our differences, cause my father was a
tough nut (Simle), but NOTHING we went through was enough to ever alter
MY LOVE for my Dear Father. Everything I know, he taught me, directly and indirectly... from Direction...
to Distribution... Cleanliness to Godliness... Education to Profession...
When one ought to be... and when not to be. My Father, Joe Higgs, was indeed a no-nonsense Masterpiece! I have
grown to recognize the he was truly an irreplacable blessing in my life. Thank you so much Anna, a mere link from
my site to yours http://annafisher.com can never express my deepest gratitude to you for being there with me and for me through it all. It was indeed a long process,
one that I sincerely do not believe I could ever recover from, but at the end of the day, I know, being there with, and for
my Father, was truly my highest calling. May his soul forever Rest In Peace!
Thanks again, Sista Anna Fisher, no one spreads the "word" better than you do (LOL) so, If
you ever see Debra, please tell her to give me a holla... Luv Yuh Sis!

Comment: Sister Marcia Higgs, you and I have never personally met but your great, legenday
Father and I knew each other well. People in Boston loved him and it was sad when we learned he was gone. But I know... Jah
was waiting for His little prodigy. Ironically, the very last time your Father and I spoke via telephone he raved so much
about you. He was very proud of you. He told me that he had no idea you were such a versatile Rapper until he wrote "For All
Mankind" and gave you to add an intro and a verse to the solo and he said what you came up with literally blew his
mind. Joe was so very impressed with your work that he also put you on "Boys & Girls" and vowed to incorporate you lots
more in his future projects. I know you guys worked on a few more songs like (don't know if this is the true title) "The
Night I Met You," on which you did another amazing rap. Now... that blew my mind (smile). Well, I assume those works
were not released as Joe got gravely ill and subsequently passed on shortly after those other recordings. Will you put
them on the market? I do hope so. Well, Miss Higgs, much respect to you for upholding the "HIGGS" legacy and I really do wish
you and the rest of your siblings all the best in your endeavors. Rastafari!!!

Marcia's Response: Greetings in the name of the True and Living Lord and Savior, my brotha. I am
smiling broadly as I read this. Thank you so very much for connecting. There is proverb which says... "You're never too old
to learn," and it sure does apply in this instance. I knew my father liked my works or he wouldn't have used them, I'm sure...
knowing how much of a "perfectionist" he was (LOL), but he never really acted like what I did was anything out of the ordinary.
Ok, all I know is that he was impressed with how quickly I was done with the composition, because he gave me the song like
ten o'clock at night and I was done by about eight the next morning. I told him I was done and he was like, "Yuh Sure?"
and I was like, "I'm Positive!" So immediately he wanted to hear what I'd came up with and I could tell he was scrutinizing it
to the max... Shaking his head in a "yes" manner, he finally said... "Great...Great... Great!" and that was it... No
smile, no nothing! Well, I learned something new today. Oh yes, we did at least five more tracks, aside from those on the "Roots
Combination" EP, and yes, I love those other ones a whole lot too. I do believe I exude a whole lot more confidence
in the latter works because by then I had gained dad's approval which I never thought was possible (LOL). So yeah, our
works got even "wickeder" after "Roots Combination." About releasing those tracks? I will... When the time is right...
But thanks again for passing through, and please... spread the "word." One Love!!!
