You may have realised from the header of this page that Mineral are no more. After the recording of the bands second full length record "EndSerenading", the four members decided to call it a day. The time period between the band breaking up, and the new material actually being released seemed like an eternity. The record finally arrived in the September of 1998 on Crank! Records to much adulation and praise. Although a change in musical style and approach is clearly evident, the band manage to recapture aspects from their earlier material, yet adding a maturity to their sound throughout.

I suppose it seems strange to have a defunct band in the first issue of this zine, but credit is certainly due to their continual excellence of releasing melodious, heartfelt songs in their short time together.
From the ashes of Mineral, some of the members have moved on to new projects, making it feel like they were never gone at all...................TheLastWordIsRejoice
