Welcome to the very first issue of my online indie music zine Hz_dB. It's taken me awhile, but after a complete revamp recently i think everything is going ok at last. This is all fairly new territory to me as i've never actually had to "write" something like this in quite some time. Lots of boring reports and projects, but having to sit and think about what to write on a more personal note, to people i don't know has been quite strange. I'm hoping it gets easier over the following months. I'm sure some feedback to the site will help me along so please feel free to e-mail or ICQ me with any comments you may have, all of those details are on the E-Mail/Contact page. With this being the first issue, i think i should tell you a little bit about what you can expect to find here this month, and hopefully in future issues. The headers are not links throughout the site, you need to use the imagemap at the top of the page or the text links at the bottom. |

Featured Band Basically, every issue i shall feature a band that i'm probably listening to a lot around that time, unless other circumstances make me choose differently of course. In this section you will find a band bio, news, tours, discographies, lyrics and cover artwork if i have it. Another point to this section is that you can download a complete song in mp3 format by the band of that month. If you are unsure about mp3's then check out my mp3 toolkit page to get clued up. |

Band Pics Here we have an ongoing collection of live photographs, most of which were taken by me on my crappy camera. Pics from the very recent, and as yet, unfinished Jejune/Kill Holiday European tour. Also some pictures of The Promise Ring, Braid and The Get Up Kids during their stints in the UK. |

Record Labels Visit some of the indie record labels that make it all possible. Plenty of links with a few words from me about the label, bands and website information. There's some great sites among this lot, and if you like message boards you are definitely onto a winner. |

Record Reviews Eventually i am hoping that this section can grow into a fine archive, but for now i'm afraid i just didn't get time to write any.....pretty lame start i know. I put a couple of links here for the time being. Not all the reviews will be new releases, i'm just going to work through my records and obviously anything new i come across. |
