Archers of Loaf      Play RealAudio
This is a fairly good official site for the Archers. Plenty of up to date happenings about the band, plus a cool system to look through the bands many releases. Some wav files to download, interviews and message board.

Braid
Do this band ever stop touring! Check out their page and find out if the Braid/Seaweed tour plays anywhere near your town/city during March/April.

The Get Up Kids      Play RealAudio
A new temporary site for the kids, some neat pictures from their tour of Europe with Braid last year. All the usual information here, expect an update fairly soon i think.

The Gloria Record     Play RealAudio
Christopher and Jeremy of Mineral fame combine again here, and so far have released two very good records. Not very much to the webpage unfortunately, just a bio, pics and lyrics.

Hot Water Music
This is certainly one of the best sites of the bunch! A brand new website for HWM just in time for their new album and tour. I certainly recommend you see them throughout May and June with Leatherface from England.
Oh did i mention the band put up two complete RealAudio and MP3 soundfiles for each of the three LP's...cool.

Ida      Play RealAudio
This is the Southern Recs home of the NY band Ida. This band just has to be heard, amazing m/f vocals and beautiful musicianship to go with them. Ida have recently released a new EP which is available here if you wish. You can also download soundfiles in various formats here too.

Jejune      Play RealAudio
Jejune will be half way around Europe by now but there shows in the UK went very well. I just can't stop playing their new record lately, it really is that good. In the pipeline i think there is also plans for a new EP fairly soon. See some live pictures.

Jets to Brazil
A supergroup of sorts, featuring Blake (jawbox), Jeremy (handsome) and Chris (texas is the reason). They toured Europe with The Promise Ring last year, and i missed them! Their first 2xLP "Orange Rhyming Dictionary" was released a few months ago by Jade Tree Recs. If you have time and patience, this guy is offering the complete album in MP3 format folks.

Jimmy Eat World
This is a new official website for this great band. Excellent info about the new LP "Clarity", and all their earlier releases. The site also has a chatroom and messageboard.

Karate
Karate are about to embark on a European tour in support of their new LP "The Bed Is In The Ocean", alas no UK dates though. You can download a song from each of their three LP's to date in various formats at this site.

Knapsack
Sadly Knapsack broke up not too long ago. They still left us with three LP's and a couple of 7"s to cherish.
This site is as good as any to find out what the guys are up to lately.

Pop Unknown
I should think they are tired of seeing "ex-Mineral" (sorry) all over their stuff, but then again maybe they aren't. Only one EP and a couple of compilation tracks so far, but the signs are all good for these boys.

The Promise Ring
(Almost) everyone's indie/pop favourites out of Milwaukee. These guys certainly know how to write happy, catchy tunes, they also put on a great live show. Take a look at some live pictures that i took.

Rainer Maria
Do i need to mention the new LP "Look Now Look Again" is out very soon, April 12th to be exact.
This is yet another nice new website, with lyrics to all of the earlier material.

Sense Field     Play RealAudio
It has taken some time to get here, but the new record from one of my favourite bands is soon to be released.
Sense Field are scheduled to go out on tour with Jimmy Eat World as we speak, a spectacle not to be missed. This is a cool un-official site with news, tourdates, bio, lyrics etc. If you have the RealAudio player there is links here so that you can listen to their last two full-length LP's.

Silver Scooter
Great indie rock from Texas. Their new LP "Orleans Parish" is due out any day now. There is some articles written about the band, pics from the studio and the usual soundfiles in .wav and shockwave format here.

Sunny Day Real Estate - Official     Play RealAudio
Well it happened, Sunny Day Real Estate reformed, and they come back with a new bassist and an excellent LP. This is the brand new official SDRE site designed by the same guy who ran the very popular un-official site for so long. He certainly did the band proud with this one, the layout and design are outstanding, and they even give you three complete songs to download. Also an added bonus of weekly MPEG videos to come soon.

Sunny Day Real Estate - Un-Official
I thought i'd put this here alongside, cause it doesn't deserve to be missed out on. Also, unlike the official SDRE site by the same designer, you don't need either the Netscape or MSIE V4 browser. Plenty of cool stuff still, such as fonts, tabs and even a SDRE screensaver to download.
