Yeah, the Taiwanese who do the translations for manga really mess up the names eg. Hana no Kimi means "For You The Flowers Bloom" ... becomes "Secretly in love with you" ... blech ... shessh ... Why don't they stick with the Jap meaning ...

what you mean? I have a GeoC account too and I have been typing the full URL thing for years and it's okay....they consider it direct-linking if you don't access HTML pages B4 you call for the images. So since you are accessing the main page and then call for the images, it's okay.

Hmm ... I don't have any problems on my end with my blogs or archives ... I solved the problem for archives by storing the picture in the archives folder too ... The problem is when I access insomniac_od from Acid Spit's page, the pictures disappears ... afraid your solution won't really help me coz I can't use the full url ... geocities' famous clamp down on direct linking acts against me using the full url ...

hey, Kit. I just checked your code.....you have to put the full URL if you want to put images and stuff. You know why? Well, when you have archives, they get shifted to another folder right? And when you click on the archive link, the past msgs will appear in your main page template. And your main page code is not in full......and the past msgs are from another folder. Ergo, you get a broken image. Maybe that's why it's wonky for me blog.
