Anyhow, I just wished it was a courier job today. It's irritating to attend duty files coz you have to get up to scratch on the file and make arguments. Did 7 bankruptcy files back to back and the registrar was asking questions that involved some knowledge of the file. While there were some notes on some of the files, it gets difficult when the Registrar asks more detailed questions. But don't worry, as much as I complain, I like my job. Ask Bel, she couldn't stop laughing when I told her some of my arguments today. I'll tell you more by e-mail if you're interested in the arguments I had to do today, but I shan't put it here in case some judge's son or daughter reads this and tells daddy about this lawyer bitching her mouth off about them. I have never insisted on that strictly and have taken files altho they were given only 1 hour before the hearing but when I get 3 files in the morning that are urgent 5 minutes before the hearing and located at 3 different courts, it's not funny. In the afternoon, I get 15 files at one go, 5 minutes before hearing again ... I couldn't finish and there goes my rare Saturdays off. I AM NOT HAPPY YOU HEAR ME ... Good luck for your exams ... I've got a wacky story about my O levels, in particular the lab test ... read on if you want to ... Well, in my time, they used to have 2 examiners for each lab period, one from your school and one from another school. We had this male teacher from SJI invigilate and my schoolmates said he was good looking ... I found he was okay but not exactly bishounen. But for some reason, he would pick on me and would start each lab period (physics, bio and chem) by checking everything on my table (why me only I don't know ... I never stepped on his toes) as if as I would do something whacky ... I used to finish my stuff quite quickly and had about 5 to 10 minutes left (I used to be really friendly with the lab assistants and they used to teach me little tips here and there to make testing a breeze) and for 2 lab exams, I noticed that he was staring at our teacher and she back at him ... ewww :P Anyhow, I decided to pay him back ... and so on the last day, I finished my bio (my fav) really quickly and then stared at the two of them staring at each other ... it paid off coz they suddenly noticed this 16 year old staring at them (of course I decided to let my jaw drop and mouth 'oh my goodness' when they finally noticed me). It was hilarious. He shot out of the class immediately and our teacher quickly went to the back of the lab. He came back looking really red-faced and when he left for the day, he found a very cheeky me and my best friend waving him goodbye ... he was really red when he drove out of our school compound as we smirked away ... hahaha!!! ... imprisoned within my blood ... Sigh, I missed the days I could draw as I please or do photoshots in between lecture times. My days as a photographer was really fun, just very poor. I like my work right now, but I am sooo confused about my abilities. Do I stay back often because my work is challenging and voluminous or is it because I suck at it? I wish I knew. I really don't mind working long hours provided it still leaves me time to enjoy life with the ones I loved. This sounds very sad, but I have missed the passing of a few loved ones because I was stuck at work. I can't quite forgive myself for it. Sorry this post is so depressing, when I ponder on the meaning of life, I then to wallow a bit. Ignore me, I should be OK in a while ... or maybe I need a holiday. I usually take about 2 hours to scan the images and set up everything, but this time I probably finished faster since the last layout allows quite a bit of flexibility and I am working with black, red and white, my fav web colors. WA ... I just got the book and haven't started my pathetic attempts to translate it. Based on the pictures, it appears to be about this guy, a Hakkai look-alike detective of some sort I think who watches his last younger partner get killed while investigating some government cover up on his own ... the cover-up involves people with cat's claws or something *okay, I am really guessing here*. He finds a young boy in the street who in the beginning of the story was running away from something or someone. He takes the young boy home (who has eyes like Gojyo's) and we see the young boy has a cat's claw for one of his hands. There's some chinese sinseh who is kinda D like and there ends book 1.
